1, 8, and 10 for Zuri and/or Maya? (whichever you feel like talking about more, or both if you want)
1. What’s your oc’s most irrational fear? Is there a specific reason this fear came about?
Zuri: People reaching for her. She doesn't like being touched in general, but she will instinctively flinch away if she feels even remotely like she's about to get grabbed. Her dad and close friends are very mindful of her boundaries, and it makes her extra intolerant of people who aren't.
Maya: Loud noises. Maya has incredibly sensitive ears, being a werewolf. She hates the feeling of being startled, or the feeling that she's about to be startled but doesn't know exactly when. If a movie has a jumpscare in it, she will leave. She is thoroughly embarrassed about the fact that she hates the vacuum cleaner.
8. What’s it like inside your oc’s mind? (Literally, or metaphorically.)
Zuri: Very neat, organized, and methodical. She breaks tasks down into steps that she can tackle one at a time. This works for her 90% of the time, but when she gets overwhelmed, she gets overwhelmed.
Maya: Kind of a disjointed mess. Sharp senses means she's taking in a lot of information at once. Her thoughts are more image and sense-based than words-based.
10. Who’s the first person your oc goes to to talk about something that made them happy? Sad? Angry?
Zuri: Her dad. They have a very close relationship, and whenever anything worth noting happens, he's the first to know. She used to confide in her best friend Jake, but he's been distant lately, and she doesn't want to put more on his plate than whatever he's already dealing with. She'll call him up for happy news, though.
Maya: Maya lives in a tight-knit community. Wolves tend to be in each other's business; they celebrate, grieve, and rage together. When she needs space from the pack, she'll call up her long-distance girlfriend, Resa, who she has seen picking up roadkill bare-handed and therefore has no reason to judge her for anything.
