#theoids is a project exploring the purpose of tattooing. Some people put a story to a tattoo for others it's a pure decoration for all, it is a thing which they have chosen to put on their bodies and keep it for all times. We all, intentionally or not give it a function. We believe it's gonna bring a positive change to our life and/or body. I make an argument that the purpose of a tattoo is equivalent to that of a talisman. I decided to play a modern shaman and offer you a collection of designs made in this concept. Using an eye as a transcultural symbol of protection and divinity.
