Top cafe in Avignon for breakfast/ coffee / crossiants with a beautiful interior and some trendy concept shops attached.

Airbnb, St Remy, France 🇫🇷

Villa La Cigale - the perfect house for a few days (or longer!), nicely decorated, three double bedrooms, good size lounge, dining, kitchen...but the highlight is the backyard with four sitting areas and a pool that was always the perfect temperature.

Colette Cafe, St Remy, France 🇫🇷 ☕️

Can I say yet another cute and delicious coffee shop in southen France? Nestled in the beautiful laneways of St Remy, with very friendly service.

Cafar Coffee Lab, Arles, France 🇫🇷 ☕️

Highly rated this coffee shop, had a delicious flat white and a free babychino! Good seating inside and out.

Lou Lou Coffee, Cassis, France 🇫🇷 ☕️

Cute and delicious coffee shop near the beach, also sells gelato.

La Grange Coffee, Lorgues, France 🇫🇷 ☕️

We stopped at this trendy coffee shop between Antibes and Aix en Provence- a beautiful cafe and shop with great coffee. The town was the quintessential small French countryside town, that happened to have a market on Friday when we stopped by.

Nomads Coffee, Antibes, France 🇫🇷 ☕️

The best coffee shop that we've found in southern France. Situated down a narrow, cute, cobblestone laneway in Antibes. Perfect Flat White and babychinos for thr kids.

Airbnb, Antibes, France 🇫🇷

Located centrally in Antibes old town, this airbnb was a good size for 2 bedrooms and self catered kitchen. No lift, meant a three story climb to enter.

Agriturismo Nonna Du, Gavi, Italy 🇮🇹

Between Milan and Antibes, we stopped off at this Agriturismo in Gavi. With picturesque views of the valley and vineyards, the accommodation was charming will classic rustic looking Italian rooms, the swimming pool was first class, and the restaurant (for dinner and breakfast) was excellent.

Wildpark Feldkirch, Austria, 🇦🇹

We visited this zoo, once again on top of a mountain. We drove 10 mins from Liechtenstein to get there. The town of Feldkirch is so pretty, especially on a Saturday in summer when thr market is on.

Vögeli Alpenhotel Malbun, Liechtenstein 🇱🇮 🍴

This restaurant is situated on top of the Malbun mountain, perfect all year round - enjoy the the snow covered hills and cosy feel in winter, or the lush greenery and outdoor terrace in summer. Outside there is the best playground, trampololine, dodgem cars for the kids to enjoy as you're surrounded by the gigantic hills and trees. I had my favourite local meal here (Käsknöpfle).

Weinstube Restaurant & Hotel, Liechtenstein 🇱🇮

Basic hotel for a standard room and good sized bathroom in a good location. The highlight was the breakfast selection, and enjoying it on the terrace overlooking the mountains. Super friendly staff.

Quintacoira Kaffeerösterei, Chur, Switzerland 🇨🇭 ☕️

On the way from Managgio to Liechtenstein, we stopped at one of the oldest towns in Switzerland. Chur was a great stopping point and interesting town. This coffee shop was great, finally a Flat White.

Pasticceria Cassera Moretti, Menaggio, Italy 🇮🇹 🍴

The most picturesque patisserie- inside and in their garden, with delicious croasiants, we had the pistachio and a Nutella one.l, delicious! Filled with flowers and trees and the most perfect bite sized treats, the coffee was good too.

Ristorante La Baita, Menaggio, Italy 🇮🇹 🍴

Situated on top of a mountain overlooking Lake Como and the surrounding area, this family run restaurant has been running for many generations. With such an impressive view, inside feels authentic and humble. The drive up was a unique experience and we were surprised by some of the 'roads' we took that finally led us there. There was a small play area for kids outside.

Trattoria Pizzeria Dei Platani, Menaggio, Italy 🇮🇹 🍴

Delicious home cooking at this simple Italia restaurant overlooking the lake from a height. The best Lasagne we have ever had.

Creme Caramel, Menaggio, Italy 🇮🇹🍴

This restaurant was a 2 min walk from our airbnb by the lake, with beautiful views. The food was yum with good kids options too.
