Does anyone know of that post that’s like, someone reading Calvin and Hobbes all sad and confused while the characters talk about literature or philosophy or whatever I don’t remember. Today kind of sucked a little bit but in, like, more of a grander general sense than anything specific. The guy onstage was talking about how we’re going to use our degrees to save the world and pay it forward and whatnot, and I just sat there with my freshly awarded film degree and music minor and no plans to cure cancer. And even I can recognize that this is kind of a dumb and obsolete way to look at education, but part of it is also ☝️ imposter syndrome. Which is another grander college experience in and of itself.

I went with my grandmother to see the movie and she cried during a few points during it, and then came out of the theater saying “I can’t believe I was crying over a rock.” Like Whatever. Rocky doesn’t deserve your disrespect anyway. I would cry a million tears for Rocky

Also I’ve been made aware that Eridian concepts of sex and gender are kind of ambiguous and I don’t even think he him pronouns even really fit rocky But… when I was in the theater and Rocky started talking about Adrian, my jaw dropped immediately like, ROCKY IS GAY? … This was the biggest twist of the movie to me. Actually here’s my reaction

And also I’m imagining Rocky making human forms for himself and the other Eridians in Grace’s class, maybe just like holographic disguises or something probably lore breaking, and like… Imagine if he used the photos on Grace’s ship as reference, and like Imagine if Rocky’s human form looked like Carl… idk that sounds dumb I’m throwing ideas at the wall here
