4. what’s the thing you love the most about your Blorbo?

I like that Mickey Mouse can kind of be anything and anyone… there’s like a hundred different incarnations of him… I think that’s what keeps me coming back with more ideas of what to do with these characters haha

Although his Epic Mickey self will always be my favorite. He hasn’t really managed to be humanized in the same way in any other media…

18. do you ship your Blorbo with any character?

I used to be sort of into Bendymouse because it was just a cute juxtaposition, but then the games started getting more ambiguous with Bendy’s age so I dropped it at a certain point

I like the idea of Mickey being aromantic (and maybe ace?) and I kind of imagine his relationship with Minnie to be more qplatonic than anything. I also feel similarly about Donmick…

Though I Love the idea of the Fab Five (with Daisy ofc and not Pluto 😭) all dating each other. I loooove giant messy confusing poly ships genuinely :) So I guess my answer is I just kind of passively ship Mickey with everyone, but I don’t really commit to anything Lol

The Kung Fu Panda console video game was released a few days before the first movie …. If you’ve only lived on Earth for 1 second you could say that Kung Fu Panda was a movie adaptation of the game.

Making motivational "it's never too late to transition" posts is really undercut if the age you're highlighting is still young. Claiming that your transition was late and it worked out great for you actually makes older people more afraid to transition if you're saying that shit in your 20s. How do you think a trans person in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s feels when you're 23 and calling yourself a late transitioner?

It's never too late until you're in a coffin. It is worth it for a single day of being yourself, even if you're 110.

What was this period of SpongeBob where they constantly joked about him being desperately obsessively in love with Squidward and like, stalking him and stealing his stuff and invading his personal space and boundaries. I can’t even tell if it’s meant to be homophobic or if the writers just find the idea of Squidward being creepily harassed To be funny. ~_~

3. Was there any specific point / any specific moment that suddenly made this character your Blorbo, or did you slowly grow to love them more and more until they became a Blorbo to you?

Hmmm Mickey is a weird case because he’s like, the most Famous fictional character of all time, but I had always imagined him as more of a mascot / icon than a fully realized individual. From my understanding he wasn’t a person and didn’t have personality, he was just an image, kind of on the same level as Tony Tiger or Energizer bunny

And When I was like, 15, I went to the flea market to buy a new Wii remote and for some reason found myself drawn to Epic Mickey, I think maybe the description on the back cover made me think “Oh this is like Undertale”, so I picked it up completely on a whim And was instantly attached to the two main characters…… So maybe it was Just Fate…..

I think meeting Oswald at his fortress was the moment I was really endeared, Mickey and Oswald’s bickering was funny and I wanted more of it. And again I liked how the game presented Mickey as a person with traits and flaws.

It’s amazing they got fully 3D environments onto the DS and actually got them to look good….. I’m just kind of blown away by the Altron games on a technical level

The Altron SpongeBob games on DS are genuinely great… they’re giant multifaceted platformers with 3D MODELS and ENVIRONMENTS… ON THE DS… The biggest issue I have with these games is just that they’re obviously not written by SpongeBob writers, so the dialogue is kind of nothing. Which is fine because the visuals are Really good and make up for a lot of it…

When I pulled up a YouTube playthrough for help with Atlantis I saw this comment at the very top.

I like this little insight… this game was someone’s entire life for a few months… I love your game and I hope everyone who made it is Still around working on video games…
