Quick concepts for an old idea. It's like watching some cursed mold growing on my world's corpse.
They exist outside the laws of biology and aren't even animals, although resemble (or rather imitate) them. I call their entire kind "Watchers" or "Tuses".
Their universe is an AU with its own, relatively independent lore and idea. I'm not sure yet what to do with it or if I will do anything.

I was clearing out my backlog of pose references that's been clogging my laptop storage for over a year now, and hyperfixation took over.
Next thing I knew, I was looking at two pages of fully-rendered Eileens. Not sure how that happened, but they turned out sick as hell so I'm posting them anyway. I'm a huge fan of characters with animal motifs that actually act like the animal they're inspired by, so I tried to channel some of that intense feral corvid energy.
Some of these were drawn using actual reference photos of birds striking ridiculous poses that were nearly impossible to replicate with human anatomy, but oh well. I had fun. :)
