what are your art inspirations?

Hmm at first, I tried everything to find my interests in fine arts, then I felt I like to paint portraits or faces, so yeah, I practice it:D and also there are a few artists who inspire me (nekokawaii, dahye.kkk, mmmonexxx, chommang_drawing) at Instagram

Then also I'd like to combine it with some references:D and make my own OC

Do you guys have any recommendations for watercolor paper?

I used V-tec watercolor paper before, but the texture looks rough even though it's cold-pressed and it's like a carton/cardboard:(

ah, I also have a question, which textures part or side of watercolor paper to paint on? the rough one or the smooth one?

I've tried to paint on the rough side, but it doesn't look good, but then I try to paint on the smooth side, and the result is better
