Never Overlook a Little Engine.”-Rex, Mike, and Bert
My fanart based on my favorite Thomas the Tank Engine movie: “Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure” 🎥 🚂 🏴☠️
Here a poster artwork I’ve made of Thomas the Tank Engine, his friends, and the new silver tank engine, Stanley, celebrating the grand opening of the town of Great Watertown from the 2008 special: The Great Discovery.
I’m sorry to say that this year, British actor Michael Angelis has tragically past away at 68 to a heart attack. And I made this drawing to dedicate what impact he left on the world.
Micheal Angelis was a very underrated but all around talented tv and movie actor in the late 70’s to 2010’s, but his most famous acting role was being the most beloved and long-running narrator of the Reverend Wilbert Awdry’s Thomas the Tank Engine from seasons 3-16(1991-2012) Following Ringo Starr from seasons 1-2, Angelis took over the role, proving that he had both the charm and the charisma to bring Thomas and his friends to life, as his slightly aging voice easily nails the vision of a grandfather reading bedtime stories to his grandchildren. After having doing the narration for almost 21 years, Angelis’ narrative contribution has made Thomas & Friends the most iconic, and beloved children show for both young and old, and will continue to do for many years to come.
Rest In Peace, Mr. Angelis, you will be well missed, but your work lives on, and you’ve made our childhood show a masterpiece. @thomasandfriends 🚂🚂😢 ❤️ 🇬🇧
My drawing of the Thomas & Friends/ Railway Series story: “Thomas Comes to Breakfast”
One day, Thomas' driver jokes that Thomas can manage without him. Thomas misunderstands him and boast to Percy and Toby that he doesn't need a driver. The next morning, after a careless cleaner had fiddled with Thomas' controls, Thomas successfully tries to move by himself, but realizes he couldn't stop and crashes into the stationmaster's house as he and his family were having breakfast. The house rocked, broken glass tinkled, and falling plaster peppered the family’s plates. The stationmaster angrily walks out and shuts off Thomas’ steam and his wife scolds Thomas for ruining their breakfast. Long afterwards, workmen propped up the house with strong poles and laid rails through the garden, and the twin engines Donald and Douglas arrive and pull Thomas clear of the house. Thomas is freed, but bits of fencing, a bush and a broken window frame decorated his badly twisted front by the impact. Back at the sheds, Sir Topham Hatt scolds Thomas for his recklessness and decides to send him to the Works for a long repair and, in the meantime, a diesel railcar is going to be brought in to run Thomas’ branch line.
My artwork from the Thomas & Friends movie: “The Great Discovery”.
While trying to find his way back to the Wharf, Thomas ventures through an overgrown forest and discovers the lost, abandoned town called “Great Waterton”, an old town where steam engines lived when first coming to work on Sodor, but was left and forgotten years ago when all the people left to live in new towns. And to celebrate the Island’s anniversary, Sir Topham Hatt decided to have the town restored.🚂
A fanart I made of one my favorite childhood video games on Wii: SpongeBob: Creature from the Krusty Krab.
