《부산현대미술관 플랫폼_나의 집이 나》 전시 연계 퍼포먼스
공감각 ’변화하는 도시, 다시 쓰이는 삶‘ (Rewriting Life in a Changing City)
본 공연은 우리가 살아갈 도시와 집에 대한 희망을 달에 기원하는 내용으로 〈변화하는 도시, 다시 쓰이는 삶〉 작품 제작 시 채집된 부산의 사운드(공사장, 환풍기, 깡깡이, 쇠사슬, 파도, 시계초침, 귀뚜라미, 기합, 숨소리 등) 와 지역민의 다양한 목소리를 서호택 사운드 작가가 재가공하여 새로운 비트로 문을 열고 안무가 이재은의 실험적인 무대, 나다은 싱어송라이터의 울림 있는 목소리가 있습니다.
영도 깡깡이 소리와 말러 교향곡이 믹스된 사운드를 배경으로 산복도로의 높은 계단을 오르내리던 사람들을 상상하며, 높낮이와 속도, 구조물 공간의 안팎과 구도심 길냥이들이 다닐법한 좁은 구석 공간 등을 활용했습니다. 관람객의 자유로운 동선 가운데 바라보는 시점이 다양해지도록 안무를 설계했습니다.
This performance expresses hope for the city and home we will live in by praying to the moon. Sound artist Seo Ho-taek has reprocessed sounds of Busan (construction sites, ventilation fans, hammering, chains, waves, clock hands, crickets, shouts, breathing, etc.) collected during the production of the work Changing City, Life Rewritten, along with the diverse voices of local residents, to open the show with a new beat. The program features an experimental stage by choreographer Lee Jeun and the resonant voice of singer-songwriter Na Da-eun.
Set against a soundscape mixing the sounds of Yeongdo hammering with Mahler's Symphony, the performance imagines people climbing up and down the steep stairs of the Sanbok-ro road. It utilizes elevations, speeds, the interiors and exteriors of structural spaces, and narrow corners likely frequented by stray cats in the old city center. The choreography is designed to allow for diverse perspectives amidst the audience's free movement.
