Okay so I know that Tara isn’t a huge character in teen wolf but I love her anyway and she definitely deserves some love so I present to you, Tara Raeken Appreciation week.
How to participate:
The goal is simple, you just have to create something about Tara. Whether that be a Fic, Art, gifsets, moodboards, fics recs list, playlists, edits, or anything else you could think of go wild!! If you want your work reblogged simply tag it #TaraRaekenweek2026 or tag @TaraRaekenappreciation. If you do end up writing a fic on ao3 you can add it to the Tara Raeken appreciation week 2026 collection.
All works must be Tara Raeken centric and Tara positive. You can find the rules for the event here.
This event will be running from the 7th of October to the 14th but I will accept late submissions I understand how hard life can get. You do not have to write something for everyday of the event but feel free if you want to.

Writing Prompts:
Day one: Tara & Childhood/Backstory
We never really got a backstory for Tara or the Raeken siblings, what do you think could have happened during their childhood? Do you think it would have been happy or more tragic like Isaac’s. If it was like Isaac’s how do you think they would have reacted to it?
Day two: Alive Tara
What if Tara never died and it was actually Theo who took her place? Or what if neither of them died and they’re both alive and happy.
Day three: What ifs?
A classic prompt really but here for all the missing scenes you feel we missed out on, or maybe you feel like writing a fix it fic, or an alternate universe. Anything can happen in Beacon Hills, I’d love to hear your ideas.
Day four: Tara and the supernatural
Say you did end up writing a fic where Tara was alive would she still be human or would she be supernatural. Maybe you could have her finding out about the supernatural, or just her with the pack.
Day five: Tara and her interests or just Tara in general.
Let’s be honest here we know nothing about Tara as a person so this is a day for all your Tara head cannons to run wild. What do you think Tara would be like as a person? Where do you think her interests would lie? What kind of personality would she have, would she be a badass who doesn’t take nothing from anyone or would she be shy and timid?
Day six: Tara and Pain.
How do you think Tara would react to being in pain whether that be her own pain (mental or physical) or somebody else’s if you decide to write her as a werewolf. Angst? Sickfic? Hurt no comfort? Hurt and comfort? Or anything else you can think of!
Day seven: Free day
Let your imagination run wild you can do whatever you want for this prompt, it’s all up to you and I’m looking forward to your ideas.

Day one: Dynamic/Relationship.
Who do you think would work best with Tara’s character? This could be romantic, platonic, familiar, or maybe even a sibling dynamic with her very own brother.
Day two: song lyrics/quotes
This could either be your favourite quote and you find a way to apply it to Tara, or maybe it’s a quote from another Tv show, movie, book or song. I’ll count incorrect quotes and memes, this is an event about being creative anything goes!!
Day three: what ifs?
A day for all your fix it fics, missing scenes, and alternate universes.
Day four: Profession
What jobs do you think would fit Tara and her personality? Or maybe you want her to have a job inspired by her backstory. It’s all up to you.
Day five: Pride
I know it’s past pride month but I’m still adding this one. What do you think Tara would be like during pride month, or maybe just a day she has during pride month or a tradition? How would she feel around her friends or family or would she even be out to them yet? Maybe even her place in the community. Or you could interpret this in a completely different way.
Day six: Sports
Did Tara play sports in school or college? What sport would she play? Was she the captain in that chosen sport?
Day seven: Free day
