ONSEN PROCEDURE WHat a difficulty to arrive in the hotel of Hakone. Arriving in the evening, diner at 6p.m but unfortunatly we arrived at 8p.m (cause of problems with train connection). At the hotel (the one we booked online), they told us that they didn't had any reservations from us and any available rooms... After 1 hour and half of discutions (japanese and english with google translate...) they agreed to help us to find a new room in an other hotel with available rooms few villages up in the mountain. After a ride provide by the owner of the place (thank a lot to him !) we arrive in this amazing place with night and outside onsen ! This is how Onsen work : 1. Separate Girls and Boys. Everybody in his/her own part. 2. Put off all your clothes and choose a basket to pack your stuff in the commune closet. 3. Now your are naked and you can take your white towel to cross the door and enter in the onsen room. 4. Take a shower in the room (sit down, japanese style) 5. go finally in the bath, first the inside one, and after the outside one... and enjoy the benefice of onsen water..... Hakone : Japan
