can we talk about how this fandom kind of has a……money-blindness problem? like the amount of people I’ve seen post how we need to buy reputation across every platform and buy it multiple times as well as own at least one (1) item of merch from her store and buy the album magazines etc……..is not ok. yes support taylor, but you are not less of a fan if you can’t afford to buy these items at all or if you can only buy a few, and you are MOST DEFINITELY not an “ultimate” fan for owning these things (especially if you have multiples, which I’m not sure why you would….but this seems to be common). anyway stop with the elitist bullshit!!! you do not need to drop hundreds on merch and you don’t need to own 4 of the same album to be considered a real fan or to be accepted by the fandom. stop telling people they need to do this lol.
