red has always been my favourite taylor album and I couldn’t be more excited for this re recording. this album has been has always been ‘that album’ for me. this album, each very song has been there for me ever since it came out back in 2012 and maybe the reason why it is so close to my heart is because it is the era I met taylor in. and even though it’s nearly ten years later, I always find something new to love.
there’s always something new to relate to. something new to discover. this album is intertwined in my being, my identity and who I am. and now being 22, I feel this more than ever - of course being happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time.
and I think that’s the great thing about taylor’s music, it’s ever-changing, wonderful, romantic and whimsical. it tells a true story, a story of life, full of the heartbreak, holding your true friends close and love. the music, taylor - always comes back to me, to all of us. and this time, I can’t wait to relive red and let it begin again.
