His invitation flipped her mood around immediately,  she nodded, her lips curving into a smile. “Really? I mean are you sure? I’m sure that hanging out with a silly high school girl is the last thing you want to be doing.” Quinn trplied, biting her bottom lip as she looked at him. “But if you want me to, then I’m definitely interested.” The blonde Cheerio smirked as she picked up her stack of books. “I can go get my car and meet you in the faculty parking lot so I can follow you?” She suggested, raising an eyebrow slightly at him.

“I don’t think you are a silly high school girl. I mean...you’re a high school girl but you’re not silly.” He gave her another smile before pushing some hair out of his eyes. He needed a haircut. “Yeah. I want you to.” He grabbed his remaining things and stuffed them in his over the shoulder bag before headed towards the door. “Sure. I will be just a minute. I need to go lock up my office in the athletics building but then I’ll be there. It’s a black truck with my alum sticker on it.” He waited for her to walk out before locking up the classroom. “Meet you there.”

She sighed softly, raising her brow at him once more. “Are you sure?” She questioned, her arms crossing over her chest as she shrugged. “I don’t see the point of rushing home to an empty house. My mom is out of town for the weekend, so it’s just me decorating our house by myself.” Quinn explained, her eyes meeting his as she opened up to him. When he pushed a lock of her hair behind her ear she could have melted right then and there. “Oh…I’m sorry for keeping you then. I can get going.” Quinn smiled weakly, a sad tone coming through her voice. “Merry Christmas, Mr. Evans.”

He nodded his head and then gave her a small smile before it was replaced by a sad one. He hated the idea of her going home to an empty place even if that’s how his house was too. But it was different. He picked to live by himself. “No...it’s okay.” Sam licked his lips and contemplated what he was about to do. “Do you...do you want to go back to my place for a while? I mean...it’s not big or fancy or anything but I have Netflix and food.” Maybe he sounded stupid but this girl, this girl that he could not deny having feelings for anymore, had taken over his brain and he didn’t want her to be alone.

Noticing the time on the clock, Quinn slowly began to pack up her belongings, stacking her books and notebooks before looking back at Mr. Evans. Everyone around her was counting down the seconds before the bell rung, and Quinn was too but for an entirely different reason. The sound of the bell signaled the end of class and without a word the students got up and piled out of the classroom. The Cheerio remained seated, one leg crossed over the other, a playful smirk on her lips. “I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything you needed from me before break? Anything I can help you with, I’m here. I don’t have anywhere to be for a while.” Quinn raised an eyebrow as she got up from the desk and walked around to the front of it to lean against it like Sam was to his desk. “So, anything?”

He bit his lip and then shook it off. She was a student. A gorgeous, sweet, sexy, smart and legal student. “I....I don’t think so,” he managed to get out before turning and messing with items on his desk. He turned back around and looked at her. “Why aren’t you running off with your fellow classmates? I assumed you’d be dying to get out of here for the break.” He gave her a small smile as he moved closer to her. He pushed a piece of hair behind her ear and then moved away again. “I mean I want to leave already. I definitely need the break,” he said with a small laugh.

“And that is all for today. Remember, just because in about two minutes the bell is going to ring and you all will be done for winter break doesn’t mean that you can slack off! We will come back with -” He was cut off by the bell and he hung his head. It was futile to try to talk now. They were all on official winter break. He went back to his desk and started piling papers so he could leave when he looked up and noticed that Quinn was still in her seat. “You’re not rushing off to start your break?” he asked as he walked in front of his desk, leaned on it and crossed his arms.

The closeness of their lips gave her self control a run for its money as her eyes met his. Centimeters were between them, but she refrained from taking advantage of it. Taking the red pen from him, she smirked a bit when their hands touched. “Thank you.” She replied simply before focusing her attention on the assignments to be graded in front of her. Moments passed and she noticed him stand up, make his way over to the door, close it, then lock it before approaching her. “Fine, though it seems as though quite a few students are having a hard time paying attention in your class since they scored poorly on this quiz. I can’t say I blame them, though.” the blonde girl replied, her gaze never leaving his as she spoke.

He laughed and shook his head. “I don’t know what you are talking about.”  Sam was a good looking guy but he was teased when he was in high school so it was hard for him to see what she was talking about. “They just don’t pay attention because apparently who is dating who is more important to them. Also...is Selena going to get back together with Justin? It’s a real question and I wish the answer was no.” He grinned cheekily at her and then shook his head once more. He could feel the chemistry between the two of them but he was trying his hardest not to do anything about it. “Um...oh. I have to go. I’ll finish those at home. I forgot...I have a meeting with a few of the guys. The receivers. So I’ll see you tomorrow.”

The small smile that Sam had on his lips was nearly enough to make Quinn weak in the knees, luckily the girl had her with about her and managed to keep her cool. Taking the papers that were handed to her, she straightened them up a but and set them on the desk in front of her. “Definitely “ she replied, her gaze meeting his once more. When he moved to stand behind her, leaning down to put his lips close to her ear, it sent shivers down her spine. Quinn’s lips parted, and her tongue wet her lips before she turned her head ever so slightly towards him. “Like I said Mr. Evans. I’m yours for the afternoon to help with anything you need…or want.” she replied, raising an eyebrow at him.

She had turned just so, their lips were practically touching and he could just imagine reaching out and kissing her. But the thought was replaced by another. The door was open and anyone could walk by and see them. He straightened up and headed back to his desk. The man grabbed a red pen and walked back over to hand it to her. “Okay then. Here’s this.” Sam took a seat in his desk and began looking over various things. After a few moments he couldn’t take it anymore. He stood up and walked to the door to close it. Once he did he turned the lock in place. Most would just think he wanted to be alone for a few. No one would bother him or the room until he was at practice. He made his way over to Quinn and sat down on the edge of the desk. “How is it going?” he asked her.

Quinn had spent the better part of this school year attempting to get the attention of Mr. Evans, but so far she wasn’t seeing any results. Santana repeatedly told her she was crazy for even tryimg, but that wasn’t going to stop the girl. It was the end of the day and surprisingly Cheerio practice had been cancelled due to what Coach Sylvester called “extenuating circumstances”. Normally Quinn would have a fit and run practice herself, but she decided against it this time. Walking into Mr. Evans’ class, she flashed a smile, hips swaying with each step the blonde took. “Good afternoon, Mr. Evans.” she replied, smirking at him as she approached his desk. “Cheerio practice is cancelled, so I’m yours for the afternoon to help you with anything you need.” Quinn added, biting her bottom lip.

He looked up at her finally and his heart nearly beat out of his chest. She always looked like sin in that little tiny excuse for a cheerleading uniform. “I guess that’s my luck,” he said with a small smile. He had football practice in forty-five minutes and he was going to take his time considering Quinn was there with him. He grabbed a stack of papers and the grading key and handed them to her. “Okay if you can grade these while I work on next week’s lesson plan that would be great,” he said with a soft smile. He knew almost every guy on his football team wanted to be with Quinn in one way or another. And he had heard them talking on more than one occasion. She was the hot girl at school, the one everyone wanted and no one could have. Yet he had a feeling he could have her if he wanted. He stood behind her and then took a deep breath before leaning down, his head close to her and his lips by her ear. “Unless you had something else in mind,” he whispered.

Sam thumbed over the files in his hands. The school year was one sixth of the way over and it was crazy to him that it had already passed. It was the end of the day and he expected the blonde cheerleader to come prancing in at any moment. He had grown accustomed to her presence and there was something about her that had him completely attracted. He didn’t know what to do to be honest. Every day he wanted more and more to act on that urge He wanted her under him on his desk, he wanted her against the wall...it was all too much sometimes. He heard her come in and he didn’t look up, not yet, not when the thoughts were swarming in his head. “Hello,” he said after a moment.

So that was her name. He smiled, despite himself, when he heard her voice. It was amazing. Like an angel, really. Soft and sexy and…nope. She was a child. He was an adult. He could not be thinking of her in that way. Especially considering she was his student and even if she would be eighteen (he was presuming she wasn’t yet) that didn’t mean it would be okay. Not until she graduated. And that was with the idea that she might actually want to be with him ever or think of him in that way. Sam mentally told himself to stop as he went through the rest of the names. “Okay so looks like everyone is here.” He smiled and turned the projector on so the images from his computer screen were on the wall. “And we will begin by talking about constellations. This class isn’t the hardest but it does require effort.” Sam continued talking and joking with the class until the bell rang.

Quinn shifted slightly, doing anything she could to make eye contact with her new teacher. He really was something else. He was young and that was refreshing at McKinley. Sure there was Mr. Schuester but Mr. Evans was a whole other story. The bell rang and Quinn took her time gathering her stuff as everyone else hurried out of the class. Once everyone had left, she made her way up to Mr. Evans’ desk, hips swaying with each step she took. “Mr. Evans?” she began softly, smiling at him when he looked up at her. “I just wanted to personally welcome you to McKinley. I for one am happy to have you here.” The blonde girl added, smiling once more. “I have a free period that I was going to fill with study hall. But seeing as how you’re a new teacher, I was wondering if you needed a student assistant.” Quinn questioned, raising an eyebrow at him.

The bell rang and Sam said good bye to his students before looking down at his papers and shuffling them. He didn’t expect his student, Quinn, to approach his desk. He looked up as she started talking and gave her a soft smile. As much as this girl made him realize that true beauty existed, he knew that she was just being nice to a new teacher. “Oh yeah that’s fine, Ms. Fabray. I’ll tell the office to mark it on your schedule.” He licked his lips and made a note of it. “I look forward to your assistance.”

The blonde girl flashed a smile at him, holding her books against her chest. “That’s perfect, Mr. Evans. I look forward to spending more time with you. I mean helping you.” She added, smirking at him when their eyes met. “So, have you always lived in Ohio, or did you move here after college?” Quinn asked, genuinely interested in what he had to say. There was something about him that left her wanting to know more.

He gave her another smile and then bit his lip. "I'm from Tennessee originally. But I transferred to Ohio State University my sophomore year so I could play football...they recruited me." He shrugged his shoulders a bit. "It's not the best story. And my parents want me to come home but I like it here."

He managed to seem mature, but still have a boyish charm about him. Santana was already making snarky comments about him, but the blonde shushed her, playfully rolling her eyes. “Give him a break. He’s new.” she whispered. Her attention went back to Mr. Evans as she waited for her name to be called as he went down the class list. Hearing him say her name sent a shiver down her spine. For a moment she considered ignoring him just to hear him say it again, but she decided against it. Flashing a smile, Quinn raised her hand, “Present.” she said softly, her eyes meeting his once more before her hand moved to rest back on her desk.

Quinn tightened her high pony and dabbed on a bit of tinted lip gloss before closing her locker. Heading off down the hallway, she made her way to her last class of the day. Astronomy wasn’t her favorite  but it fulfilled her science requirement without being too difficult. Taking her seat in the back of the class, Quinn looked up to the front off the class as she smoothed out her Cheerio skirt. The bell rang and the new teacher began to introduce himself. She finally focused her attention on him and a small smirk played at her lips. The girls in the class were already fawning over him, and she definitely didn’t blame them. Quinn’s eyes caught his and she flashed a smile at him as the class calmed down.

So far things were going pretty good. He was trying to let them know that he was available anytime they needed him. Sam’s eyes met a pair of hazel in the back. God they were gorgeous. They flashed dangerously and her smile sent his head spinning. If he had met the same girl in the bar he would have bought her a drink. Except she would have to be a bit older for that. He smiled back and then turned his attention elsewhere for the moment. “Okay I’m going to pass out your syllabus. It contains everything we are doing for the year. It also has ways you can reach me. Feel free to add me on messenger, text me or send me tweets.” After he passed the papers out he began doing roll call. “Arthur Abrams?” Check. “Rachel Berry?” Check. He went through a few more names before reaching hers. “Quinn Fabray?”

Sam liked his lips as he waited for his last class of the day. It was his Astronomy for seniors class. It was kind of nerve wracking because these students were all close to his age. Some only four or three years younger than him. He sighed and shuffled his papers before looking up at the students filing in. He stood up and smiled as they shuffled in. Once the bell rang and the students were seated, Sam walked in front of his desk. “Hello. I’m your new Astronomy teacher. The name is Sam Evans. Coach Evans, Mr. Evans or Coach is fine with me.”
