Mainstream media, still wants to call him a "former crack dealer."

I wrote a paper on Elvis’s fraud ass. You know he started doing his own music first and he was literally laughed off stage by everyone. It wasn’t until he started “covering” aka stealing black songs that he got famous because he changed then to appeal to white teens. He’s a glorified cover artist with little musical talent. I got 3 minutes into braveheart and shut it off. It's a horrific cringe fest. Majority of Scottish outlander fans saw this a mile off and it's the reason why it's not on anything but Amazon prime.

One of the trainee destined commanders to the Ma-el’s right vomits at that, half-digested exoskeletons and a couple of gizzard stones hitting the floor in a spray of mauve stomach acid, and then drops to the ground, bright with embarrassment, to clean up her mess. The other one looks just as ill, but only says, “Red blood? Disgusting!”

“Regardless,” says the messenger, “everyone bitten by a mosquito has collapsed, dead before they hit the ground, within moments of the mosquito’s penetration of their skin.”

Ma-el Jhlorx-seien massages the base of her ocular spikes. “Go consult with the xenobiology team,” she orders, and turns to greet the xeno-specialist loremistress who has, from the look of things, sprinted halfway across the ship.

“Ma-el,” she gasps, panicked, urgent, “send out a priority alert to not under any circumstances kill any of the species known as ‘cats.’ Each cat,” she pauses to suck air into a deflated thorax, “has nine lives, and they’ll remember!”

Oh god, finally someone said it. Every time I see words like “jihadist” I want to scream, but I’m not Muslim, so I wasn’t sure I should say anything. 

Jihad means struggle. It doesn’t mean holy war or anything like it. In fact, there is no word in Islam for holy war, because the nature of Islam does not leave room for holy war. Islam has a juridical system, not a Pope who can just say “Go wage holy war.” Conflating the personal nature of jihad with violence is so very gross and it needs to stop. Period.

Blackness Castle

Built as a residence for the powerful Crichton family, but this auspicious start soon gave way to a chequered history.

Seized by James II, it remained in Crown ownership, initially as a garrison fortress and state prison.

It has undergone many alterations, but it could not withstand the onslaught of Cromwell’s artillery in 1651.

Redeveloped in 17th century, it remained an important military base until the 1870s when it became a munitions depot.

It fell from military use in 1912 and, despite a heavy-handed restoration in the 1920s, retains much of its rugged charm

Blackness Castle stood in for Fort William in Outlander, I think in at least two episodes but I might be wrong. 

In the late 1990s, a lady visitor, with her two young sons, felt adventurous enough to climb the winding stone staircase of the tower. Suddenly there appeared before her a knight. He was suited in armor, in full dress uniform, so to say. The apparition took umbrage at her temerity. She claimed it chased her angrily from the tower. She didn’t say, though, whether it was brandishing its sword as it clanked after her. Probably, she was too busy trying to stay out of its mail-fisted reach.

We went to the top of the tower and the door was closed, says me "that looks ducking ominous" then suddenly the door flies open (with the wind) que my boyfriend screaming "HOLY FUCKIN SHIT" and needing to take a seat on the stairs. The family with young kids coming up after us didn't know whether to be outraged or laugh 😂
