CW: maggots

There were SO MANY maggots at my job today

Most of them were in trash bags but quite a few still escaped and man they’re disturbingly fast movers…

For context I do trash valet for a group of apartment building, with outside stairs, in the heat. Basically people leave out their bags of trash in trash cans outside their doors and I come haul it away.

I was joking (when I found a singular bag with a bunch of maggots last week, in a hallway with half its lights broken) that the apartments I do trash valet for were getting taken over by the Corruption (or possibly the flesh) but honestly now I’m kinda convinced.

This is the video I took of the maggots last week, but imagine this happening (with larger maggots) at like 15 different bins, and you have to grab them, put them in a larger bag, swing that onto your back, pray that none of them are crawling out, and maybe bring it down 2 flights of stairs to your handy dandy trash cart.

Everyone cross your fingers that the corruption hasn’t marked me.

Which wolf design is better?

A (two wolves each biting the other’s tail)

B (single leaping wolf but looks more similar to A if you do 2 of it)

Working on a bigger relief print to print on shirts and patches and stuff (I want wolf merch) but I’m stuck on what design to use. I could do a design of two wolves biting each others tails in a cyclical way. I could also just have one leaping wolf that would be nice by itself, but if I print two of them together they will look like they’re chasing each other and trying to bite the others tail.

Tested out a type of mounted linoleum I haven’t used before (I bought some on sale)

I think I’m gonna have to carve some sort of background cuz the linoleum had a couple specks in it and I need to make it look like part of the print.
