Printing this years Christmas cards! All printed by hand using my linocut stamps. I will hopefully make these available on my folksy shop soon :)

I dyed these scarves a couple of summers ago, forgot how nice they were! Made using Japanese kimono silk and dyed with indigo using various techniques.

Doing some Christmassy carving today. Its from a design I have done before a few years ago but needed some tweaking and doing on some nicer lino. Will be repeated and layered with another pattern.

Celestial Bunnies

Limited edition lino print on UK made heavy weight paper. I used a two-tone inking method for this, going from black to a bright blue- so every one will be slightly different . Available for sale in my folksy shop.

Archipelago Three

Last in my ‘archipelago’ series all available on my folksy shop. Inspired by my trips to Sweden around the islands I made these lino cuts. These are a limited edition of 30 each, all traditionally printed with a hand-cranked press on UK made heavy weight paper.

2 years!

It’s been almost 2 full years since I posted on this tumblr and plenty has happened. I’ve still been printing but I’ve chosen to mostly post on instagram (my username is tempestelliott if you’re interested). These are the Christmas cards I have designed and printed this year! All hand-printed on textured ivory card using my lino stamps- and I've added a few gold embossed stars :)

Cotton Hankies

We produced some 100% cotton hankies the other day and used a few dying techniques to create the set of three shown here-shibori and dip-dye (and one featuring my lino print of a gull) We plan to use indigo to dye these in future. Take a look at Alex's tumblr to see his images and other products.

Dip-dyed Tote Bag

100% natural cotton tote bag with my solo gull and waves design carved from lino. This is my proto-type for this design (can be seen again on my other post) which I have then dip-dyed, hope you like the effect. Any comments would be great :)

Waves & Anchor

New note card design featuring my lino-cut anchors and waves on 100% recycled card stock for my set of nautical-themed patterns.
