Jem's persona is Maria Clara. She is a fictional character of the book Noli Me Tanghere (translated to 'Touch me not')made by the Philippines national hero Jose Rizal . (Her codename is Noli)

Noli Me Tanghere is a book created to rebel against the Spanish colonial rule.Maria Clara herself did not rebel against the those who oppressed her in the story, she was seen as the perfect woman and wife in that time and she was constantly silenced.Only when she heard of her lovers death that she rebelled against her biological father that she would rather die than marry someone else and gave him 2 opinion and I quote "the covent(being a nun) or the grave" and in a later book she was mentioned that she lived an unhappy life.

Maria Clara's rebellion is not loud but rather its silent and secretive, like her giving her watch to a leaper despite her friends protest or giving a biscuit to someone clearly of low standing.

Maria Clara was made and created to rebel , the book she is in was literally created to rebel against the Spain rule.

Which is why she's my view of rebellion, silent rebellion, no one would think that someone like her could be a symbol of rebellion so why would I confirm to that expectation.

The background of Jem is that their family is struggling with thier immigration/residency status though they have been in japan for 2 years(drawing a bit from my experience) but a Japanese family member ,Jem's distant aunt ,is oppressing/blackmailing(?) Jem's parents to marry her son to "help" gain their residency and have a high status in Japan , Jem doesn't want to marry her son but doesn’t have a choice because she want to help her parents (distant Japanese aunt can be connected to shido like haru's father but low in the food chain,so that there is some connection to the main palace rulers and that the PT can gain info about that "someone" from haru, also haru parallels.)

Once PT finds about Jem's situation 2 things will happen.Deadline: 1 week + 2 days

When deadline is met: Jem awakens Maria Clara (her persona) .

When deadline is not met: Jem gets married to the aunt's son and live an unhappy life under the guise of a happy life

Roan's knights calling Cale "sir" is very wholesome/dear to me 😭. Like, everybody knows that Cale isn’t physically strong and he doesn’t have a sword formation but they still choose to address him that way. They could simply use any other title, yet they go out of their way to respect him in their own way.

It speaks a lot about how Roan (and other kingdoms) view him in general, and how different it is from his past as a team leader. He used to work in the shadows (kind of) and most people at the company saw him as coldhearted (but efficient). Now, he is viewed as a compassionate hero...

If you want to answer, no pressure

Groom of May's power is directly dependent on the success of TeStar, meaning the more powerful and famous they collectively get, the more powerful Groom of May is. Since the time limit is literally in the name, Moondae either has a convenient way out (he's guaranteed to return to normal come June) or the slipperiest slope back in (if he happens to transform in a place where the time is indeterminate/frozen, there's almost no way to get him back to normal).

While he's the Groom of May, Moondae's consciousness either a) replays the canon events of DoD or b) has a nightmare scenario from the system. Think him trapped in alt universes but each one is a specific scenario and isn't as long as the arcs in canon. If TeStar members get schlorped into the ghost story, they're turned into his groomsmen (each with their birth flower pinned on their suit) and spend their time idyllically preparing for Moondae's wedding/helping him find his bride. Their bodies behave cheerfully and their consciousness is sucked into Moondae's altverse. The more badly Moondae wants to see TeStar members in the altverse nightmare, the more proactively the Groom of May hunts down TeStar members. They all return to normal come June, but the members share some form of 'collective consciousness' for around two weeks. Some minor effects of this specific darkness lingers, such as being able to recognize TeStar members no matter what disguise they're wearing, and being able to tell if a TeStar member is in the vicinity.

Braun is too interconnected with GSGW and Kim Soleum for me to use him frequently, but Groom of May does eventually establish a working relationship with the Late Night Talk Show Host (the same way Moondae has a working relationship with the broadcast station). Groom of May also does adverts for Delusion Home Shopping so our Groom actually has to balance Braun and Red Friday the same way Moondae has to balance, uh, all that.

Braun's role as commentator/companion/advisor is filled in with Keundal, who has been consumed by the system.

Groom of May has beef with the bride from the boarding school. She tried to snag him once and he was like ??? and rejected her. Their feud lasted past Moondae's time as the Groom and they had trouble subduing her since as a human he's much more vulnerable. Eventually Moondae sings for her about how they weren't right for each other, lets her down gently, and they're now 'awkward past acquaintances'.

Groom of May's ghost story is hard to track down because he only shows up in group matchmaking sessions. It has to have around equal number of men and women, have at least 30 people, for all of them to be genuinely single, and for them to be in a semi-enclosed space (if outdoors, at least a tent is needed. Think a space where you can host a concert/performer). Then he crashes the party and goes through five matches (all of whom would fail because they don't fit the lifestyle of a ghost story such as himself) and then bursts into mournful song, enthralls everyone, turns them into flowers so these beautiful people can be beautiful and together all the time, takes the flowers, then leaves like he was never there. If TeStar members have been schlorped, they join him in the performance. Since he has no set ghost story location, he is extremely difficult to track down.

Aside from catching him at a matchmaking event, the Groom can also be caught occasionally performing in the Late Night Talk Show and the Blood Broadcast Station. TeStar members, once they've been schlorped into Groom of May, could no longer summon the Groom in any capacity (think Good Friend and the Bureau's spirit summoning) since they're considered part of his ghost story. This is why when they need him and can't track him down, they go nab Cheongryeo and have him summon the Groom.

While Groom of May occupy no physical space (and instead invade irl places. Massive headache for the bureau), if a TeStar member manages to escape from the altverse nightmare, they'll find themselves on an idyllic grass field with all the members napping like they were having a good dream. This is the same field found in Ahyeon's ghost story. It is agreed that the Groom drew on Ahyeon's powers to create it, and the escape method is the same as Ahyeon's ghost story (which I haven't figured out yet).

Edit: I called it a crossover in the past, but I think it’s more accurate to call it an au. I completely forgor to mention I’m not involving Kim Soleum in this au at all, since Kim Soleum has the biggest protagonist energy of all and his story literally involves godhood and the creation of multiple worlds. It’ll be fun to put KSE and PMD for like, an extra episode, but for the purposes of this AU KSE does not exist

Ok real talk I think the funniest way to do this is pull a classic BDS 'I can't believe it's not yaoi!' move. Schrodinger's homosexuals. Etc. Which is to say that TeStar members are split on whether Cheongryeo is chosen because he, like Moondae, can see the system (though Moondae is the owner, like in DoD) or whether the Groom answers bc he and Cheongryeo has a strange bond. None of them ever think 'he could be Moondae's bride' out loud bc BDS does that and it's hilarious.

Chungwoo and Ahyeon are in camp 'this is probably a system thing.' Chungwoo, because he's the straightest arrow in the quiver (he doesn't care), Ahyeon bc he's contaminated and feels a contamination-esque connection between Moondae and Cheongryeo.

Raebin and Bae Sejin are in camp 'he obviously wants Cheongryeo as a groomsman.' Specifically, Raebin thinks that it's obvious that the Groom wants to add someone as skilled as Cheongryeo to the lineup, and Sejin thinks that Moondae has a horrible, self-flagellating attraction (of dubious nature) concerning that bastard (who happens to be very skilled).

Eugene and Lee Sejin are in camp 'they're really weird about this and I'm pretending not to see it.' They know what's up. They're not touching it with a 10 foot pole. If Cheongryeo dies, then he dies.

What if the reason KRS didn't die in his childhood/the apocalypse was not based on luck but was cause KRS hated himself.

The curse is everyone KRS loves he will lose (whether from death or otherwise), right!? So does that not imply that KRS didn't love himself? Could that be the reason he survived so long? The curse kept him alive? This is just a theory but I low-key think I'm into something.

Cale’s biggest attribute is his ability to not give a fuck

No he doesn’t give a shit if you’re human or a blubbering fish,as long as you’re useful/dont get in his way/hurt his people he will be chill with you

Likelihood is that along the way if you manage to have a longer than a week acquaintanceship with him you will be slotted in as one of his,basically meaning you are set for life,and the chances of that changing involves you committing the fucks up of all fucks up.

And honestly if you see everyone around him,it’s one of the characteristics that probably attracts them most

Some of them come from a race that are literally cursed/disowned by the gods

Some of them come from places that hurt them so terribly it permanently scarred them for life

Some of them had dreams and desires that others never quite understood

Simply put they were different

And Cale didn’t care

Hey. Hey the dragon half-blood's story. Yeah his entire role in tcf vol 2 up until the eden miru part. It really made me tear up man. Like ofc I understand the guilt and twist of emotions between this guy, Sherrit and Raon. Sherrit, a mother who learned that this guy is a product of her dead child's heart being eaten, knowing he is what came out of killing her child. Raon realising that this guy who tried to kill him was also the one who saved him when he was an egg. The dragon half-blood feeling so much guilt he thinks he can only repent by dying. Him regretting not responding to when the children averaging 9 years old tried to talk to him while he was working at the Inn when he realised he might die soon. Him feeling so much guilt and shame each time he looked at Sherrit and Raon, and accepting the anger Sherrit displayed toward him. The fact that he accepted her hate and anger without a word but struggled to accept her kindness. The fact that even tho Sherrit had calmed down and in vol 2 was trying to make him feel as much a part of the castle as anyone else but he always felt so guilty he couldnt. The fact that all he was, was a bone dragon, a skeleton who couldn't feel heat or cold but Sherrit still came to brush the snowflakes off him and expressed her worry that he might be cold. The fact that Raon, Hong and On were so naturally sheltered by his wing against the snow. The fact that Raon, and even Cale start referring to him as 'our dragon half-blood' and everytime Cale wants to talk to him about his name, the dragon half blood avoids his gaze and flies away.

The fact that when Sherrit said she is worried about her children she was referring not just to Raon and Cale but also to the dragon half-blood TT, knowing that these three were the only ones who could see the scary time related power of the Dragon Lord. The fact that she wanted to accept him and even even expressed that will through actions but the dragon half blood was so adamant on refusing her warmth because he believed he did not deserve it. That he still does not deserve the peaceful.life cale had given him.

And in the end when he hatched out of the skeleton to go soaring into the sky and get rid of the exploding dragon lord to save his new family. The fact that he decided to sacrifice himself because he saw Raon cry and Cale bleeding all over and he realised how much he wanted to protect them and how he was the only one who could do anything now. He thought it would be the perfect end for him, even tho he did not deserve it, he wanted to protect the family he now had.

And how horrified Sherrit must have been TT Watching him zoom through the sky, even tho it's never expressed what sort of expression he saw on her face when time resumed again, the fact that he looked away. Perhaps he couldn't handle the expression of a mother who had to see someone she had accepted as a child, whom she knew never had the opportunity to live until coming under her care, so willingly step in to give up his soul, not his life that had long ended but his soul that was all that was left him--- he was willing to give it all up to save them. He couldn't bear to look at the face of the one whose affection he craved, even tho he rejected it, all this while he really did want her to be his mother.

But all that tragedy aside, Cale's conviction and the attitude of 'I always keep my word' to the point while the feeble soul of dragon half-blood was barely holding on due to Raon and Eruhaben's shields, and Cale was bleeding everywhere and barely conscious but he was so, so angry at the dragon half-blood that he was cursing him, "Dragon half-blood you fucker, you think I'm gonna let you die without hearing your name?" and he really didn't let him. The lesson u shld learn from this is that u never, ever mess with one of Cale's people. This guy will go so far as to even take a broken soul to a whole new virtual reality world to save it from disappearing forever.

He named him Eden Miru, because he did not care what form he came to Cale and his family in, they would just accept him as he is. Giving this guy finally a chance to be reborn properly. Even if that meant to he had to revert being an egg in a game world, and Sherrit promising that she would find a way to connect the game world with her castle because she wants to be there when he hatches from the egg. And Raon rubbing his face against the egg while laughing and expressing his joy, and On and Hong as well asking if the dragon half blood is their youngest now, and so they will protect him.

In just two years, Eden Miru was finally able to find all the happiness and acceptance he had been craving for over 800 years while under the white star's thumb. And now he even had a family and a name. It's enough to make a grown man cry.
