keeping you safe is like a full time job sometimes i can barely breathe but i wouldn’t trade it for the world
So I finally went to see The Scorch Trials last night.
And after hearing how ridiculously different it is from the book, and how some storylines were handled, my expectations were at rock bottom, lemme tell you. So maybe it’s not that strange that I liked it better than I thought I would. Don’t get me wrong: I’m still sad we’ll never get Scorch Trials the movie, but once I got past comparing it to the book, I was really enjoying myself.
Because I realized what I was actually watching: a Last of Us AU.
Those Cranks? Runners. The ones with spores in the tunnel? Clickers.
And once I started looking at it that way, the movie actually got really good. It’s a zombie apocalypse movie, loosely based on The Maze Runner books, and largely inspired by every other zombie thing out there, especially Last of Us.
