SYNOPSIS.
The youngest daughter of the Duke of Devonshire, Caroline was born into wealth and adoration. It shouldn’t come as a surprise when one gets a taste for it.
Marrying royalty only made sense, so that’s what she did. In her twenties, she married Philip, the second son of Queen Margaret. Caroline’s mistake was believing marrying the second in line would bring her any more liberty than marrying the first.
Caroline was the perfect actress however, crafting smiles to have the press eating off the palm of her hand — on the newspapers, no sign of her private vices and immoral behaviour.
Caroline’s hidden darkness was bound to catch up with her eventually, and it did. Her marriage was crumbling, and so were her lies; for the very first time, the headlines started to question whether or not the Duchess was as perfect as she seemed. But they’d never find out.
Shot at gun point outside her home, Caroline was sanctified. With an entire kingdom in mourning, her mistakes were erased and her legacy as a loving wife, dedicated mother, and international darling lives on.
THE DUCHESS OF YORK is played by NAOMI WATTS, and her faceclaim is non-flexible.
