“Did it really sound that agressive? Everything’s fine. Just want to fight someone.”

“Hey, Kairi. Don’t be fighting no one, okay?” He placed his hands on her shoulder and begins to massage them gently.

“Why not? You get to fight people all the time.” She let out a sigh and peered at Sora from the corner of her eyes, before slumping her shoulders with a sign of resignation.

Breaths came in laboured gasps. The last of the shadows dissipated into thin air. Beads of sweat crept their way down her face. Finally the girl slumped to her knees and an heavy sigh escaped. Soon she flopped backwards onto the ground, her ornate weapon vanishing into thin air. A hand lifted and pumped into the air. “I did it!” She announced loudly to no one in particular, before letting the exhausted limb fall back to her side.

Well, she might not want to come out, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to sit down right in front of it and wait her out. He’s got both of her shoes now, and he’s absolutely going to scold her later on when she finally comes out.

“I don’t see why you let it bother you so much. It obviously isn’t true. Since when have you even cared about that kind of stuff anyway? It’s not like you to let some obviously false, childish thing get under your skin, Kairi.”

A leg shot out trying to kick at him. “It’s not childish.” She snapped with frustration, pushing herself deeper into the bush, tangling her hair among the branches. She bites back a yelp of pain as she pulls too hard. Now she done it...

“How would you like it if I told you your kisses were so bad that they were poisonous and could kill someone?” She asked with a pouting voice, curling herself up tight in the bush, trying her best not to pull at her hair too much.

Unfortunately for her, he’s able to follow her footsteps, plus he knows her, and this island a bit too well. After all, he and Sora grew up here, he knew every crevice and place to hide; even after all these years he was -still- the hide and seek champion.

“Come out, you shouldn’t go running around without your shoe. What if you step on something? I’d have to bring you back to shore so it doesn’t get infected.”

Stubbornly she kicks off the other shoe and continues to run away before finding a nice bush that she could hide in for now. She didn’t even care about the scratches from the branches, as she wedged herself deep among the foliage and sat there with puffed out cheeks. She wasn’t going to come out no matter what he said. She refused.

“Kairi–” He called back out to her, show in hand.

Nope, he wasn’t going to chase her, but he will calmly follow where she’s gone off to with a sigh. Really, she’s heard so much worse, why is she so upset over something so obviously false?

She’s definitely trying her hardest to find a place on the island where he wouldn’t think to look for her. She doesn’t want to be found. Lips pressing in a tight line as she racks her brain, just running as far as she could away.

“Alright, you got me,” he’s taking that hit to his head, arms raised, “But I meant it in a good way. Settle down, it’s not that serious Kairi.”

“There is no good way of that...” She grumbled, brows furrowing as she stares at him for a few more seconds. Soon, not even retrieving her shoe, she turns away and starts running away from him.

“You just said you wouldn’t be surprised if my kisses were poisonous. Poison is a bad thing!” She takes her shoe off and throws it as hard as she can at his head.
