The best thing about a eventual Paladins and Overwatch crossover, would be Reinhardt reaction to seeing Drogoz, a self proclaimed dragon, and his constant desire of wanting to throw down with him because of that.

Like, Drogoz is just minding his own business counting his gold when he hears someone yell “CATCH PHRASE!” And a wall behind him explodes as tons of crazed German knight in power armor crash into him, charging into him as Bridgette tries to catch up with him yelling to stop it.

Also Reinhardt giving Fernando the same speech his mentor gave to him about saving his teammates and the innocent rather than seek glory, thus taking the self appointed knight under his wing.

Also, Fernando hitting on Tracer, Tracer going “I’m flattered Guvna, but I’m gay” and Fernando going “Really, me too!”.

Also Cassie bonding with Bastion of all people for their shared love for birbs (Bastion ends up adopting Ziggs too while he’s at it).

And don’t let me start on Zenyatta having some meditation sessions with Makoa.

Honestly, a Paladins and Overwatch crossover is such a treasure trove of interactions guys, we need it, like, yesterday.
