Today is Sarah's birthday

Curt walks into a store to buy her a present (ignoring the fact that there is no cashier and barely anything left in the stores)

The store is...filthy, when was the last time anyone cleaned this place? The ground is full of dust and the windows are filled with cobwebs (is that blood on the bathroom door..?)

He heads towards the toys aisle, little kids like toys right? (He can't remember the last time he's met another person, let alone a kid)

He grabs a barbie doll, a stuffed rabbit, and a birthday card. Curt smiles as the memory of Sarah's 3rd birthday pops into his head. She smiled a lot that day

(why can't he remember what her smile looks like? How long has it been...)

Does this store have any birthday cake...? (Even if it did, he can't put it in the cart. It'd likely be expired by now, not safe to eat. Besides who'd eat it? Sarah isn't-)

Sarah isn't going to eat it, she doesn't like cake. She hates sweet things, how could Curt forget that? (What else has he forgotten?) Satisfied with his findings, Curt walks out of the store

Fuck it *TADC’s your Recreyo*

The premise is more or less the same, a group of humans end up stuck in a digital world with an AI more or less ruling over them (I will reference Ai as little as possible cuz it’s gonna get confusing otherwise)

None of the Recreyo group are directly related to any of the TADC cast though

Kristine is the newest member of the group but she very quickly starts accepting this new reality whilst also asking the most unhinged questions.

Chilly will not be abstracted cuz I’ve put her through enough already lol

They all somehow hold Jax’s role and attitude (the og cast could never survive them). Ivan usually gets the short end of the stick. Usually a bladed one, usually wielded by Den

Curt is the closest to Kinger, he was one of the original humans that worked on Ao and got trapped, but has since received memory loss.

Ao is for the most part content with just watching them screw each over (she is Caine but more malicious)

They take turns creating adventures

I made Curt a sock puppet, he has no legs and is now the smallest of the group. He can still walk, similarly to Kinger he just hobbles. He also smells like fresh laundry.

Den is a circus knife thrower, didn’t know what to do with her bottom half so just pretend she has legs. Gave her an extra set of arms so moreee knivesss yaaaay, she can now hold more than one thing at the same time!

Chilly is a paper doll, her body is always covered in doodles, maybe even changing each adventure like Zooble. Her breath holding ability could be related to origami.

Ivan is one of those cymbal banging monkeys, those cymbals are permanently glued to his hands so picking up anything is just generally awful for him. Do not look up what an actual cymbal monkey is bro this is for ur own safety holy shit they r horrifying.

Luna cooked with Christian being a fashion doll so I had to run with it. Made him more pastel and gave him a string feature for no other reason than I thought it’d be interesting.

Kristine’s a balloon dog with a clown inspired outfit. I’d like it if she had a slight bounce in her walk like she’s filled with helium, also she’d be very squeaky too.

And finally Ao. I wanted her to be similar to Caines design in that they r just a floating body part with eyes so I chose a hand.

Notes about them

Curt:

Teddy bear cause...comfort? Idk, just thought it'd be fun, sinceyou said he'd take up a similar role to Kinger (in the backstory sense at least), Kinger was a source of comfort to multiple people, and Teddy bears are such a simple symbol of comfort.

Ao:

The people who designed her model wanted her to give off a vibe of comfort, safety and nostalgia by modelling her after old childrens toys, which turned out...less sucessfull then they hoped.

Christian:

Fashion doll, cause haha fashion youtuber. Kinda stuck between a couple ideas of what his "thing" is. One idea was that he can just make cosmetic changes to his avatar, another was giving him a "score", like in dress up games, that affects stats like speed, strenght, how npc's react to him, etc. (he wouldn't really know how the algorithm behind the score worked, it seems to just constantly change)

Ivan:

Made him a ball cause that was kinda the first idea I had that would keep his role as the punching bag of the crew alive the easiest (I just imagined him being kicked around, or slowly deflating when Den stabs him). His breath holding power would probably just be that is limbs get pulled in and he can roll around pretty fast without arms or legs geting in the way.
