Its wayyy too hot this week to be messing around with LEDs so Mindflayer is staying half done for now.

Mindflayer head WIP...

I'm making this out of cardboard because its easier. This is going to be a bit of an experiment with using LEDs before I put them in V1.

NEW COSPLAY ALERT

Once I've made V1's wings, I want to start making a Mindflayer cosplay because I'm in love with her design. There's a lot of opportunities to put LEDs in this too

BUG V1 WAS THE ANSWER!

I made the shape of each wing with wire and sewed the mesh fabric on to it. Its definitely lightweight enough for me to attach LED strips.

The shop only had green so I'll have to paint it.

Ok so... we have a new, new plan for the wings

I'm using flexible craft wire to make a structure then wrapping them in either cellophane or mesh fabric. Then they can be lightweight AND flexible in every direction.

Also I'm helping to push the "V1 is bug" agenda
