hellsmother:
“Oh I’m sure you’ve heard loads about me.” She almost laughed a bit. “I kill other witches..Is that what you’ve heard? Everything I’ve done well, it’s been in order to survive. Can’t live if others are hunting after you very well can you?” She asked. “Perhaps we are alike in that point.” Perhaps, she’d been quick to judge her. However, she simply wished to remain careful was all. “And what about what is in this for you…Is it that you wish to see Fergus dead?..Or is it that you want his throne for yourself?”
She paused for a moment. “I shall admit that my son is no king. That he hardly deserves the throne of hell..So-” She smiled. “Perhaps I might be inclined to agree with your offer.” She nodded. “Given of course, there would have to be a few things agreed upon first.” She knew, that if she played her cards right, she might come out with an advantage. “Such as…” She leaned forward in her seat closer to Abaddon, before saying. “I want power.”
She took a sip of her tea. “Now I don’t wish to rule. I only wish for a wee position of power. Something important, you understand darlin. And I also wish to start a wee coven of my own. I would need backing on that, as there are still those who wish to keep me from using my magic..Anyhow, if you can agree to these tings, I don’t see why we couldn’t…Why we couldn’t be in business. So what do you say?”
“I would hardly begrudge you the desire to survive,” she said, a smile curled on her lips. “Us girls are quite resilient.” She has killed plenty of her own — angels, that is. Though her essence had been corrupted, she didn’t consider demons to be her family. No, Lucifer was her family. He was... all that remained now that the rest of the Knights of Hell were dead, except her. She had survived. Just like Rowena. Two fiery redheads... it’s an appealing image. “Little of column a, little of column b.” The witch wouldn’t believe her if she pretended that she didn’t want to kill Crowley. And the throne... well, who was more deserving of it than her? She wouldn’t see it put into the hands of another unworthy individual. If you want something done right, do it yourself. In this case, she would rule herself. She’s pleased that Rowena seemed to agree that Crowley was undeserving of the throne. It didn’t even seem that difficult for her to admit it. But this was a good development. Her head cocked at the notion that the witch wanted power, wondering if she had designs for the crown herself. But thankfully it wasn’t the case. Good; one less thing to worry about. “I’ll be glad to have someone sensible in hell. As you can see... the average demon isn’t too bright.” She had no problems with insulting demonkind and these words were far from the harshest of what she truly thought. “And I’ll be glad to help you with your coven.” Both terms seemed fair to her, if the witch wasn’t going to interfere in her affairs too much. “Have you a preference for sealing our deal? Handshake?” Her lips twitched into a smirk for the briefest of moments. She’s teasing the witch ever so slightly, though the fact of kissing Crowley’s mother before killing him did seem... deliciously devilish.

hellsmother:
“You want to what?” She asked, as though she’d not entirely heard what Abaddon had told her. “You want to help me, get revenge on Fergus? Are you serious?” She was not quite sure if she could take Abaddon for her word yet. “I’d love nothing more then to make my noxious blowhard of a son pay…But why is it you are so keen to help me?” She asked. The more she thought of it, the more she was sure this was a guise of sorts. But, Rowena was quite careful with her wording.
She could hear the kettle whistling behind her, slowly she turned around and shut it off. “Not that I don’t want the help darlin.” She admitted, as she began to pour her glass. “I truly do want you to help me. But you have to understand, there are things I need to know if and before we proceed to what is the word? Become a team.” She then began to mix her milk and honey into her tea.
A moment later, she strolled towards the couch with a smile on her face holding her tea. “I do hope you don’t mind me asking you a few more wee questions. Perhaps we best start with this one…How do I know I can trust you? From what I’ve heard you’re quite good at well killing or double-crossing others. How do I know you won’t just use me?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” She replied, as if her distaste for Crowley was a secret from anyone, or how much hassle he had caused her in the past. Perhaps helping a stranger wasn’t exactly in line with her usual behaviour, but opportunism was. Can she be blamed for that, if every party got what they wanted? The witch had a grudge against her son and was looking to punish him. It was still a little hard to imagine that Crowley was her son. Abaddon wasn’t sure what she had been expecting, but it wasn’t... this. She’s watching the witch carefully, still on her guard. Though she was a formidable fighter, it didn’t mean that she wanted to get caught off guard. But for the moment, the witch’s actions seemed innocent enough. “Shoot,” she said, reclining back. Become a team. The words tasted bitter in her mouth. The thought that she needed help in any way. No, this was just making things easier, that’s all. Rowena came back with her tea and some more questions. Now, they were getting to the good stuff. “You don’t,” she said bluntly, as if there were really answer. “I could give you some nice little spiel on trustworthy but seeing as neither of us were born yesterday, it isn’t worth much.” She’s not going to try to smooth-talk her, for the risk of how easily she might see through it. Better just to be honest about who she was. “But I don’t have any guarantee that you won’t do the same. I’ve heard you’re quite... something.” She’s only gotten bits and pieces to draw together an image of her. Manipulative; but she didn’t expect any less from the usurper’s mother. Everyone took after their parents. “The demon part of the reputation gets played up more than the Knight of Hell part.” Who was more loyal than she, a Knight of Hell? She, who had followed after Lucifer. “Killing and double crossing isn’t always the smartest thing. Your average demon thinks it is, but they don’t last long. I do.”
long live the queen
So first, you’ll die, painfully. And then Crowley will watch his son die, ditto. And then the King himself and Blade destroyed. That’s quite a to do list.
