[ Matthias exhaled, rubbing his squinted eyes. ]

My good old front door. ...The door's unlocked...! Hawkins goes inside the house. There's a scream that was cut short followed by the sound of a thud.

[ Matthias whipped around, pausing for a moment. Was that.. Hawkins? Oh. Oh dear. ]

[ Matthias ran up to Hawkins' front door, gripping the handle. ]

You better be alright, Hawkins,,

[ Matthias mumbled as he opened the door, immediately scanning the area for Hawkins. ]

Most of the doors are locked. There's a key on the floor. Grab it?

[ Matthias picked up the key, staring at it for a second before putting it into his pocket. ]

Hawkins?

[ He called out, hoping for a response. ]

Matthias received no response. It seemed the key went up to the only bedroom in this house.

[ Matthias wandered around the house, searching for Hawkins. ]

[ ..Did.. something terrible happen? ]

[ He pushed that thought out of his head, finding himself in front of the bedroom door. He tried the handle, pulling out the key after realizing it was locked. He inserted the key, twisted it, and opened the bedroom door. ]

Hawkins? Are you there?

[ He stepped inside. ]

Hawkins was laid on the ground. He was still breathing, so he was alive, but the breathing was shallow. The window in the room was open. How had opened it?

Oh-- HAWKINS?

[ Matthias raised his voice in alarm, crouching beside Hawkins to check for any injuries. He ignored the window. ]
