if noone was watching and judging, would you feel more free with and in your body?
if you submerge your body in the elements of nature, does your body feel more alive?
so what can happen for your body if it is offered a space with no judgement and the curiosity to find out what it's capable of?
think about this.. in the culture you were raised in, how much was your health defined by sources outside of you? when did doctors start to look into your health? before you were even born? when did other health experts join? directly or through media.. or even through the words of others.. "you know they found out now, if you eat one apple a day you'll stay healthy" "you know this new method of losing weight" "oh you have this symptom? you should let someone look at that, that's not normal"
what if your body doesn't just run on numbers?
what if your body knows how to BE alive (not just survive) what if your body know how to heal itself (fully restore aliveness, not just avoiding death)?
but how do you ever find that, if you ask a studied specialist before you ask your body?
what would happen if you asked your body which specialist can actually provide the necessary tools for YOUR body?
what if it didn't need another specialist that defines from outside, that creates another pattern or system to follow...
what if all its asking for this time is space - to not be treated like a malfunction machine
but like a living organism that likes to be taken care of, that likes to enjoy life and that likes to be seen individually, that has its own stories, and its own truth, its own abilities, its own quirks, and its own way of telling you things..
and it keeps talking, whether you listen or not.. sometimes it starts screaming - when everyone is telling it "oh yeah its this diagnosis and this treatment" but nothing changes, or symptoms get worse - its your body getting louder..
now imagine a space where such a screaming body gets to lay down and be, where it doesn't get talked at but listened to. and it gets the energetic impulses it has been asking for so strongly....
what could suddenly heal in your body?
what would that do your life?
and you're not quite sure about this..
imagine this.. you find a traumatized dog on the side of a road, it is hurt and weak, quietly crying for help.. you pick it up and take it home.. you create a space where it feels safe, you care for it, you love it ... and it starts healing and blossoming... you didn't understand in words.. you just knew what it needed.. and you chose to care for it.. no judgement, just open arms and a willingness to give that little creature the healing that it needs..
what if our bodies function like that, too?
and what if we can give them that?
and what if that doesn't exclude common medicine - it asks for it when it is the exact tool that is needed - no judgement
and what if it does include asking your body first and trusting that it knows where, what, how, when a certain tool is needed - and when not..
and what if the question alone gives your body a space that starts the healing process?
can you imagine that with your body?
to give it the kind of care, that you would to a beloved pet? or a friend?
and to be so free of judgement of it (even just for a minute) that you can listen to YOUR body instead of reciting scientific lectures to it and wondering why it doesn't get healthy? or why it doesn't behave like doctors say it should?
what if you give it a try? just for a day?
and ask your body "what could heal in you, if there was noone there to judge you?"
