Hello! Welcome to the Silly Corner! Here you can find all sorts of x reader posts from a bunch of fandoms- of which you can find a list of within the Fandom List link below, as well as my collection of masterlists!- some general things to note is that this blog is run by one person with a couple of health (mostly mental, partly physical) so sometimes requests can be a little closed (speaking of! You can find request status in this blogs bio!) so please be mindful of that when sending in an ask or request! The Admin swaps between writing on his laptop and his phone, so expect some slight style differences between posts- just a device hop!
Soo... what about the Admin? There isn't really much about to say about myself, I just like writing! I use they/he/it pronouns, I am an aroace (technically aegosexual/romantic if you wanna get REAL specific) self shipper! My interests change every now and then but that doesn't mean a fandom is instantly getting canned the moment I move on; so no need to worry about that!

I don't have a JOB job due to several factors, I've been baking to help cover things since I'm lucky enough to get support from family. But I'm stressing the fuck out, I'll probably amp up and focus on that; the baking

Attraction-
He wants someone he can actually talk to. He's already got to deal with people like Laughing Jack and Jeff in the mansion, they're way too loud and... high energy... huge assholes on top of it. Maybe it can come off as an ego thing but he wants someone who can sit down and actually take something seriously AND not be a huge dick about it
Which is a bit funny since Jack himself is a bit of a dick!
You don't need to be all that smart, he just wants someone who's on the same energy level
Bonding-
Most of the activities you do together aren't TOGETHER together. It's parallel with one another, doing your own thing. Maybe he's tidying something up in you're in the room doing a puzzle together. It's nice, just being in the company of one another! It's a nice change of pace when everyone else is doing something that's a lot more chaotic and loud, Eyeless Jack is like a sanctuary in the middle of everything
Cuddling-
Eyeless Jack runs a bit cold, so he's like a God send during the hotter months when the inside of the mansion REALLY gets stuffy. Most of the other people in the mansion have that normal human body heat going on, but not Eyeless Jack! He's not much of a cuddler, or physical affection person in general... but he does be mindful enough that touch may be something YOU want, so he tries to set time aside to make sure your needs are being tended to
He's a bit short in my personal interpretation so it shouldn't be TOO awkward to have him be little spoon if you wanna hold him... though it's rare he actually agrees to be the little spoon...
Dates-
Dates in general are a bit hard to pull off in the mansion, there aren't really that many options... you COULD sneak out late at night when there aren't many people roaming the streets, Jack's got the advantage of looking like a mostly normal person from a distance-- though... he doesn't eat "people" food. Physically can't, gets sick. Tokyo Ghoul rules basically. So going out to eat is off the table... maybe if there's something good playing, the two of you can go out to watch a movie together instead of just watching the same old shit in the living room--- it'd be nice to catch something that's just releasing than to just be confined to DVD!
Actually planning dates does slip his mind though, even before he got all... tarred up... he didn't really date all that much so he's unused to these sorts of things...
Emotion-
For the most part Jack isn't all that emotional, until he isn't. And usually when he IS emotional it's typically when he's outwardly lashing out. Jack is... not very high energy when it comes to expressing himself, he doesn't emote like the others and it's harder to read him when he insists on wearing his mask- literally and metaphorically... so by default you show more emotion in general, but that's... fine. It's not entirely that Jack is entirely hiding how he's feeling from you but that's something more for the Xray section!
Family-
Jack's never been interested in having kids, even before coming to the mansion. That's very unlikely to change with time--- and he's not one to compromise about these sorts of things. If kids are something you REALLY want then it's best the relationship between the two of you is broken off
Gift giving-
He's not much of a gift giver... and he doesn't much care for getting gifts. Though if it's something that matters to you he does try his best to make an effort even if options are limited, sometimes the people he... harvests from... has a nice little something in their house that you might like! It's not like anyone has money, can't exactly get a job so the two of you just have to make do with those sorts of things
Harsh-
Jack can get a bit... snappy... that's a nice way of putting it. He doesn't really yell or go out of his way to raise his voice at you but as soon as he gets going he has a bit of a hard time keeping himself in check. He'd never harm you, especially over something as simple as a little disagreement. Arguments aren't... completely uncommon but they're not very common- all things considered Jack isn't that short tempered in comparison to the others within the mansion
Injury-
I am of the headcanon that Jack used to be a regular person before becoming what he is now, and I have the not very original headcanon that he was going to school for medical stuff before shit hit the fan. He's pretty well versed in anatomy and having hands on experiencing with his... meal prep... has given him an even more intimate knowledge of where everything is and where everything should be... couple that with him already knowing how to treat a wound and being the closest thing the mansion has to a medic... you're in pretty safe hands! On top of that he doesn't lose his cool
It's a bit of a different story when he's wounded... he'd rather take care of himself if he can, even if it means doing the stitches on his own
Jealousy-
He says he's not the jealous type. He is, at least a little bit. He can deny and deny all he wants but he can't hide the way he stalks around when you're getting a bit too comfortable with someone. To be fair, he doesn't get hung up on the little things, if you want to hang out with someone that's fine. But skipping dates? Brushing him off? Yeah no he's going to call that out real quick
Kisses-
Kisses are... interesting... sometimes you can taste the tar that's dripped a little too close to his mouth, even if it's been wiped away before you went in to steal some smooches. It doesn't really taste that good...
When he can he kisses deep, like he's trying to make up for otherwise not being too touchy affectionate. It's nice, even if his tongue is kind of ice cold and weird--- it's split. It took some getting used to
Love language-
Quality time. Lots and lots of quality time. He knows he's not one for words or touch, and he can't really give you any gifts. The most he can do for you, and the most he feels he can ask for, is to just... sit there with you. Even if there's no conversation happening between the both of you, it's something. He hopes that you know that he really does care about you, even if he's a bit cold--- it's not that he intends to completely shut you out, connection is just a bit hard for him
Marriage-
Similarly to children he's not exactly one for marriage, not that you guys can get it done legally anyway. That being said he's more open to the idea of having something symbolic if it really means something to you-- whether it's a ring or a tattoo or something that the both of you have to show off outwardly to the others. Or if you'd prefer he's perfectly fine not having anything like that at all if you just want to address one another as spouses
No-
Absolutely under no circumstances does he want to take you up on any offers to feed him with your own body. He can gather up food for himself perfectly fine, and he'd much rather not risk taking more than you can handle offering up. When he feeds he can get a bit frenzied, so the risk is FAR too great for him to even want to consider. That being said, if you harvest something yourself from someone else then he's not going to turn it down; you already got it and even packaged it up all nice for him! It would be a waste to just chuck it
Oddity-
His tar is... sticky. It isn't all that surprising when you stop to think about it but... yeah! It's sticky, and it kind of smells a bit. You've had the misfortune of accidentally getting some in your mouth when you go in to kiss him. He's got this whole nightly routine where he wipes himself down before he gets in bed with you--- though it only minimizes the staining. You've since learned some neat cleaning tricks to combat this little obstacle
Petnames-
Jack would much rather prefer the two of you use each other's actual names... but sometimes he does slip out a Babe-- it's rare but it happens, it's like a little treat when it does!
As for what he wants to be called...? He's not too picky so long as it's not excessive or within earshot of others-- Jeff and Toby would never let it go
Question-
Gore and death isn't anything that you're new to, in fact everyone in the mansion has seen their own fair share of that sort of thing. So you're a bit shocked that Jack shot you down on your offer to come along with him to pick out someone to track down. You knew he liked doing things solo but this felt... different. Jack's got a sort of ritual, and if you didn't know any better you wouldn't notice the way he's so... cagey... about his diet
It's better to just not ask
Risk-
He doesn't like risking anything with you. If he can help it he would prefer that you would stay home when he goes out to go look for someone to restock his personal fridge. Besides he already doesn't like you seeing the harvest as mentioned in the previous section
Him wanting to deal with those things alone aside, he's well aware that his style of "hunting" is riskier, people have weapons of their own. Besides odds are you haven't been in the breaking and entering side of things as long as he has, it's not worth the risk
Tunes-
It's an older playlist, but I feel overall if I were to remake the playlist not much would change!
Upset-
Jack is more of an advice before comforting person. If you need comfort and a space to vent first then you need to outright tell him that you need that. Sometimes you need to complain before you can get solutions--- if you want them period. You could very well already know what you need to do
On the flip side... Jack... represses and self isolates. Locks himself in his room for a while, maybe he listens to music. Maybe he doesn't. There's no real point in asking him to come out and vent to you, he's a total shut in as soon as the door is closed
Valentines-
Similar to dates, valentines is a bit limited in what you guys can actually do. It's more likely on these nights, if you have the money for tickets, you go out to see a movie just to mimic a normal couple. It's... weird but nice... to act like that. It feels weird returning to something so... MUNDANE... even if its for one night
Sometimes he goes around the forest surrounding the mansion to pick wild flowers to bring to you
Warrior-
Similar to Risk he doesn't want to rope you into his personal business. But on the off chance that the two of you need to team up? He's going to make sure that you come out as unscathed as possible, and he's fairly good at keeping up with that promise.
Xray-
He can read you scarily well. It's almost like he's been keeping an eye on you without you even noticing, it's... actually kind of creepy sometimes but to be fair that comes with the territory with the kind of crowd that lives inside the mansion. You're not exempt from being a bit offputting. Unless he feels like there's something deeper going on though, he's not going to push all that hard to make you tell him what's on your mind
On the flipside though Jack, once more, isn't all that expressive. His voice is a little flat and he's a bit deadpan in the way he delivers his end of the conversation. He doesn't joke, doesn't fool around. Kind of stands there real still while he's talking to you. It's a bit hard to get into his head, and to make it harder if there IS something going on odds are he's not going to bring it up. He's very... internalized...
Yearn-
He's not much of a yearner. He knows you're going to come back and if you don't... then he will learn to cope with it--- whether you simply never come back or you pass away. He's the king at repressing how he's feeling. And when you do come back? He's not going to be all over you. As far as everyone is concerned, from the outside he's completely unbothered
He does think about you, though. I do think he would miss you in some capacity, but he wouldn't let it consume him
Zzz-
Jack... struggles with sleeping. One might argue that he's an insomniac though he says it's not that serious. More often than not you're probably going to wake up to Jack working on something quietly in the room- if the two of you are sharing or spending the night together- or simply laying awake in bed...
But when he's actually asleep? It's like sleeping next to a corpse. His body's cold and you swear sometimes it feels like he's not breathing. He can't exactly change how he sleeps, not in that way, so it's just one of those things you have to get used to

Well I suppose public displays of affection are a little different when the both of you are only really surrounded by people within the mansion... and the two of you dating isn't exactly unknown. Though... the point remains all the same even if Jack was a perfectly normal person who enjoyed- and could enjoy- walking around in public on the streets: Jack... doesn't much care for PDA! The most you might get is that weird awkward side cuddle on the couch if there's a movie night going on in the living room but that's about it!

Rage filled and evil I'm not even gonna lie. I think my social battery is just cooked and I'm generally overwhelmed; they've done given me that sort of boiling rage that makes you shake and feel ill over the mildest inconvenience. I fear I may recreate the bite of 87 and I'm so disappointed at myself for carrying such anger but fuck it we ball-- i just gotta rattle the bars of my enclosure for a minute
Speaking of smile dog, idk if it's just me because I've always been paranoid of chain mail and similar, but smile dog easily aged the best out of the big creepypastas--- at least out of the ones that were fairly tangled up in the fandom side of things. Shit still makes me feel anxious seeing the images
Tbh smile dog and slenderman probably have the best potential for new horror stuff-- I know each got a good YT horror series semi recently though I deadass forgot the names of them

Seeing it through AI slop aside people forget that the main point of smile dog in specific, compared to other chain mails that had the entity physically come after you or you simply die, was that smile dog basically psychologically tortured and taunted you within your own mind. It didn't have a body it was just there in your brain and stalked you through the day to day like a virus

The fact it even needs to be said is genuinely missing me off some of you guy actually need to reevaluate yourselves. Like it could very well be ragebait. Regardless it's a gross thing to do and while I probably won't delete this blog this most definitely will be a large reason for why, if it DOES happen. I've already gone on rambles about how I think fandom has gotten significantly worse since quarantine; and I feel like self shipping has gotten worse in the past year or two. Can't explain why. It's one of those things where I'm glad it's become more normalized, but it's at the cost of people becoming more ravenous/more bad actors bleeding into the community
I still like writing but I genuinely don't know how long I can keep up with this bullshit given my health is already deteriorating
