As time passes, so do things progress, both over in Roedores, and back home in the tower. Belle and Chime make their return after some assistance in the allied plane, trying to keep up to date on certain things.
"Right, so... the miracle ingredient is kept safely back at that castle, so, that's already handled. Milagro mentioned that the egg those adventurers found was about to hatch... anything I'm missing, Chime?" The black dragoness taps her cheek, as they make their way to her room to check on the egg.
"There's also that... anomaly." The shadow dragoness crosses her arms, wondering about something. "A possible security breach, but it's a bit early to tell. Let's focus on one thing at a time. Father should be here around now, too."
The Smiths all gather in Belle's room, watching the pokemon egg expectantly, as it starts to hatch. It's a little bit of an emotional moment for them all, as they soon have a look at the newest, albeit adopted, member of the family. A Salandit, a fiery and poisonous lizard, dark grey with an orange marking along her back. There's also another mark by the shoulder, but it's still early. ...They can probably say she's a kobold, if anyone nosey was asking questions.
"Well Milagro, you have a new sister now. Or, ah... niece? I guess it depends on which one of us she ends up calling 'mom', maybe?" Belle rubs the back of her neck. Raising Milagro has been an interesting experience, but raising the Salandit would be a whole other deal. But there's the whole family, and the whole tower, to help out with this.
William just smiles at the Salandit, being reminded of his time raising the twins and Kali. A nice, sweet moment... but he does have some information for everyone. "Ah, Belle, Chime... I suppose even you, Milagro. I've gotten a tip, while I was doing some merchantry stuff in Roedores. There's a bit of word spreading of some fiends, Abishai to be exact, trying to gather some masks. And... somehow it'd lead to summoning Tiamat? I'm not sure... I'll see if I can catch Kristjan at a free moment and consult with him." Kinda brings the mood down, but, they were all adventurers, so they just nod and steel themselves. More information is needed on this, and this could be a big deal, so they'd be focusing on that.

From somewhere, a transmission. "...Yes, they haven't noticed anything off yet. ...The suit is about to be acquired, I'm ready on my end. And yourself? You'll have the goods ready to give to me soon enough, yes? ...Good. We'll see if this 'alliance' of ours keeps up, Consul."
