One For The Road

I wrote a thing based on a promo photo and POI Noir photos for Season 5, Episode 4, which I haven’t seen yet and oh god I’m terrified/excited. I haven’t read any thoughts or opinions about it or anything because I don’t want spoilers, but when I saw that promo photo I had a lot of feelings. I’m still working on Caged Animals’ final chapter, and will post it soon, but I figured I should post this one-shot before the episode airs. Seems like the thing to do.

A few days ago I had to say goodbye to this sweet guy. My amazing cat spent his last six months fighting cancer, and the last month has been incredibly difficult. He would have been 18 years old soon. The picture on the left is me holding him in the first weeks that he was a part of our family, and the one on the right is from a few weeks ago. It was time, but that didn't mean it was easy letting him go. He was like a brother to me, and I miss him immensely.
