Thinking about my poor El in season 4 and how she was being bullied, lost an integral part of herself (her powers), was overwhelmed with culture shock and also experiencing grief from losing her father and she was looking forward to being with Mike, her pillar of emotional safety and the writers gave it to her for two seconds eating burritos and experimenting milkshake flavors with her long distance love before making her fucking miserable for the rest of the series.
