HEY! WHAT IS THIS? (WIP)

hi! im @threadsofsaffron (saf) and i'm working on a visual multimedia thing titled the crow, revolution, and sacrifice. @posiwritesstories and @flayyr help with the writing, worldbuilding, plot, characters, etc.

it's an anticapitalist dystopian scifi story taking place amidst climate catastrophe in the 2050s. it's mostly centred around the country of maenesia (formerly australia), specifically the Maenesian Institute of Biopharmacy and Enhancements (MIBE). there is fucked up science. there is found family. it will be queer.

will the art be good? idk hopefully

i'm actually so awful at remembering to post to tumblr this blog is soooooo empty

some parts of this i really like because lord knows im not a fan of the final piece: - red and blue pixelated highlights around the faces - the shading on conaya's arm - the fact i remembered to put a mole under conaya's left (our right) eye - the colour i picked for the shadows on cyaris' vest - the little strip of magenta in between the light and the shadow on cyaris' wings

HUGE NEWS!!

In April 2024, I began production on a music video for CRS titled RED HOUR, after the song by vocatart. I'm proud to announce that this marks what is hopefully the start of the series.

It's probably my most ambitious project yet, and i really can't help but give thanks to all the people who have supported me and made this possible, especially to @flayyr , violet and Noah who have been the ones bearing the brunt of my ramblings and who contribute immeasurably to the development of the story.
