-shakes her head then stops and furrows her brow- Mm, one of them but not the main one.

-furrows his brows- I’ve heard of people going for the lead singer and guitarists, but never the pianist. -rolls his eyes- Oh yes. Cause I’m totally trying to catch all the ladies.

Yeah but -waves a hand- There's something classy and old school about a man who can play the piano -snorts to herself- Mmhm. Totally. Absolutely. No doubt in my mind.

-opens his mouth to agree before he realizes what she said and starts busting up laughing- What? -shakes his head at her as he continues to chuckle-

-laughs along with him- You know! Pianos and gutairs have a certain charm to them! -elbows him gently- You don't have to hide your plans, babe.

Exactly! -lays his hand flat on her leg now- I think I might have him try and teach me a couple songs though. Like chords and stuff.

That'd be kind of cool -lowers her leg back down- Master all the instruments that make ladies go crazy?

At least piano notes are all in order. You just go up the keys. -taps out on her leg like it’s a piano-

-smiles to herself when he taps on her leg and holds her leg up, pointing her foot out- See, that makes way more sense.

-mocks as though he’s holding a guitar neck in front of them- They’re on different strings and frets. Like sixth string second fret is one note, and then fifth string third fret is another. -mimics the fingering-

-wrinkles up her brow as she watches him, shaking her head no- That's too weird. I can't even understand piano.

Yeah, I know, but like, the notes are located in the weirdest places. -waves his hand around- Like it’s so much more complicated than piano.

-laughs a little then furrows her brows- How do the notes a guitar even work?

Yup. -nods as he shifts to lean around her and put his empty bowl on the coffee table before settling back, his arms draping around her- There’s this guy that I recognized as a regular at the music store, but he specializes in guitar. It’s interesting to see how different it is from piano.

-hums as she listens to him, scrapping up the last of the ice cream in her bowl- They're both completely different instruments though.

-gives her a slight look, clearly unimpressed- I had friends last year. -points out-

True, true. -nods and waves her spoon at him- And now you have more?

-chases a chunk of Oreo around before finally getting it- And the music classes are nice cause I can relate to the people for the most part. -shrugs-

Yeah? -smiles and elbows him gently- Is my little shy guy making friends finally?

Thanks. -mumbles around his food as he adjusts along with her and then nods- It’s not too bad. I’m liking only having classes for a couple hours a day instead of having to be around all those people for seven hours straight. -chuckles-

-waves her spoon at him as she finishes swallowing the ice cream before speaking- Oh! I completely agree with you.  It's the best thing about college.

-can’t help but smile crookedly as he watches her- You’ll be fine. You always are. -reaches around her and takes a bite of his ice cream with a little difficulty-

-nods then realizes he's trying to eat- Oh! -adjusts herself so it's easier for him then goes back to eating her own- How are you liking it so far though?

-moves his arm to wrap around her and rubs her arm soothingly- You’ve already made it this far, babe. You can do it. -kisses the top of her head- Just a couple more months and then you’ll be able to cut back on some of your stuff. And you know I’m always here if you need my help.

-sighs heavily and halfheartedly shovels more ice cream into her mouth, speaking around the mouthfuls- I know, babe. Thanks. I just gotta buckle down though.

-looks her over and nods slightly- You have a lot on your plate. I mean, you always do, but there’s extra this semester.

-closes her eyes and whines, hiding her head in his chest- What was I thinking? -mumbles softly- I won't be able to handle all of this.

-continues to eat before bumping his shoulder into hers as he swallows a particularly large mouthful- Because you’re freakin’ president on top of being their RA. They probably respect you or are intimidated by you. -grins a little-

-blushes a little and looks down as she pushes her ice cream around a little- Well, I'm on the board but that could be part of it -sighs heavily- This might be the last year I do both though. It's all so exhausting.

-tilts his head back and forth- Yeahh, they still have a bit of time for the freshman nerves to wear off and for them to get cocky. -chuckles-

By winter quarter? -wrinkles up her nose and shakes her head- But, luckily, they've been cool with me. A lot of times, people will ignore their RA but they seem to like me okay.

-grabs the remote and flicks on the TV for background noise before taking a bite of his ice cream so it doesn’t melt- So how are the girls on your floor? Still behaving themselves? -looks over at her curiously as he continues to eat-

-nods yes- So far, so good -licks some cream off of her spoon- No one's done any sneaking in yet. That usually comes later though.
