my holiday wishlist:

• christmas tree: our muses will go either to buy a tree or chop one up themselves.

• thanksgiving dinner: our muses will attempt to cook a full thanksgiving meal for their family(ies) together.

• baby it’s cold outside: the weather is all snow, leading the muses to setting up their fireplace and snuggling by it.

• black friday rendezvous: muses are both dragged by someone else to do black friday shopping, and meet while miserably waiting for their friends to finish shopping.

• mistletoe: muses are at a mutual friend’s party but don’t know each other and find themselves under the mistletoe.

• christmas miracle: muses have been trying to have a baby for a long time and finally find out they are expecting on christmas.

• christmas delivery: one muse is pregnant and has been ready to pop for a week already, and finally goes into labor on christmas day.

• family reunion: muses are family member who haven’t seen each other in years and finally reunite during the holidays.  

• furry holidays: muses find a furry friend at their door during one of the coldest days of the year.

• christmas lights: muses decide to decorate their home(s) for the holidays and go through many adventures in the process.

• snowed in: muses are in the same place and aren’t able to leave because of the amount of snow. (home, office, etc.)

• snowstorm: muses are at the airport when they find out they can’t take their flight home for the holiday because of the snow.

your blog is yours. it’s not anyone elses but your own. if you want to write ooc post, then go right ahead. you want to post a shit ton of funny pictures do it. no one has the right to tell you what to do or belittle/disrespect you for what you decide to do on your blog. if they don’t like its their problem. not yours.

just a few things to remember about roleplay ;

follower counts do not equate to ‘popularity’

follower counts do not equate to ‘quality’

it is not a popularity contest

a writer is not their character; their character may be an asshole, but the writer may not be

someone else roleplaying the same canon character as you should never be compared to you or another because you are each your own portrayal — thus you are each unique and have your own merits as the character in question

someone using an ‘overused’ face claim does not make them any less of a roleplayer or writer nor does it negate degrees of ‘quality’

some writers may be slow because they have real life issues or maybe their muse for their character comes and goes, or perhaps their internet connection is faulty

as a writer you can pick and choose whichever threads you have the muse for whenever you’d like — it is your blog and your character, only you dictate as much, never let a person make you feel bad for that

do not enforce a ship or push for smut, let things flow and they will be magical

if you worry you are being ignored? you probably aren’t, the other writer just may not have the muse for your thread or maybe they are simply too busy

i want more ‘life’ threads. the little things, y’know? not everything has to be A N G S T Y or PAINFUL. ( i mean it. shut up. ) little things like making breakfast with someone who’s not a morning person. getting them to laugh because you’re cute and they know it. meeting up for lunch on a busy day. because you’ve gotta make that time to see them. sure, you’ll be home in a few hours, but that’s - hours from now. dinner dates. the casual kind. like leftovers from two nights ago. with cheap — beer. but it’s still a date because the two of you are alone, and you lit a yankee candle for your — coffee table.

& watching movies. seriously. or like half of one. because you both fall asleep early. i want t h i n g s. real things.
