What Will The 'TheGoodTimesZine' Be Focused On?
Great question! The 'TheGoodTimesZine' will be focused on anything that Scar has worked on! Life Series, Limited Hardcore, Hermitcraft, ect...! It will be a writers and artists collaboration fanzine! Writers and artists will have the chance to create their own piece, or collaborate together to celebrate the good times that Scar brings us with his uploads!
What are Restrictions and Requirements for Zine Pieces?
In General there are restrictions of basic Rule Etiquette, as well as No NSFW,
For Writers there are the requirements for 1-3k word count, preferably beta read (but is not required), is a Stand Alone Work, Not apart of any previously existing AU, and is a fully finished piece by the end of the creation period!
For Artists there are the requirements of A5 Page (300 dpi), a fully finished piece. You can do up to 2 page comics or one page pieces. Backgrounds are not required as we are aware that not all finished pieces need backgrounds to be a finished pieces.
For Merch Artists there are the requirements of a finished art piece that can be uploaded to make Merch to the requirements of the type of merch you are creating; which can and will be talked about more if asked, but will be much more talked about with Merch Artists who are selected and are in the Discord Server.
Is Shipping allowed?
Minimal Shipping is preferred, and would best be as a background comment rather than the main focus of your piece! Not everyone likes shipping, and of course we don't want to draw any shipping discourse to the Zine's metaphorical doors!
How many pieces can someone contribute?
This depends entirely on how many contributors we have! The answer will probably be one piece per contributor unless you are a Cover Artist, which will allow someone to make the cover and an inside piece; And Cover Artist doesn't have to be one person, it can be several people collaborating!
The only exception would be anyone who decides to be a Merch Artist, whether Digital or Physical, as they would have the option of creating several pieces depending on the kind of Merch they wanted to make.
We want to encourage everyone taking care of themselves at all times and not expecting or requiring anyone to do more than what they think they can do! That goes for art and writing, and anyone who makes Art for Merch! Taking Care of yourself is the upmost priority, because at the end of the day, this is just a fan run zine!

hello! If I submitted an application saying I was interested in drawing , would it be possible to change it to crafting if I get accepted ?
Hi! This is a tricky question.
If you are accepted into the zine, you will be accepted as a particular role. Changing that once admitted isn't an option.
However, with some more information from you, we could work something out now. If you could provide us with the Tumblr username and email you used on the form as well as a portfolio of your crafting work, we may look it over and consider you for the creator role.
probably a silly question, but if we update the already shared google drive of the art portfolio will it update in the link we shared in the application? or would we have to send in a second application to fix that?
If you update the already shared google Drive, it will update the link. However, in order to keep up on applicants, our mods have already started reviewing applications, so there is no guarantee that we will notice if an existing google drive is updated. Sending in a second application or an ask to let us know you've changed your portfolio will give us the opportunity to review the updated drive.
