ROA | BRISTOL
Belgian artist ‘ROA’ was in town as part of Coates & Scarry’s group show ‘Unnatural-Natural History’ at the RWA, Bristol. For the last week he has been producing five site installations using found objects and painting his signature black and white animal portraits; one of which is visible from Queens Road on the RWA’s balcony.
So while in Bristol, it only seemed fitting for him to kick off the See No Evil 2012 lineup by painting the wall leading into Nelson Street (which was previously graced by Shoe). Like Aryz the year before he has raised the bar high.
See the progress shots, which we’ve been posting live on our Instagram (@wehangfire). It was great to watch him build the layers and make the fox come to life.

This is my 'Minimal' set up with The JayBees. I should have learned how to play the flute like Ron Burgundy... (Taken with Instagram)

Bristol, the city where stunning new street art appears every week.
(Took it from the bus, which explains the poor quality)
Found the perfect location for The JayBees photo shoot, coming soon...with burgers and fries! (Taken with Instagram)
Really looking forward to this! What an album!
I took this picture the other day wandering around Bristol. Someone succesfully made an unattractive building look good by using the dirt to make art. Pretty awesome!
I am trying to give up the fags, this lovely bit of Bristol art isn’t helping.
Street art is popping up much more frequently than I remember in Bristol, this is something I REALLY like.
