Episode 101, Another Twist. This episode is not in my top five. Which is fucking insane. In any other series, this episode would be number one. It's pure poetry, and completely perfect at that! TMA became possibly my favourite piece of media IMMEDIATELY because of the way it engages with its audience. Not only does it establish complicity between the listeners and the dread powers, particularly the eye of course due to the perspective of the story and the and voyeuristic nature of enjoying any entertainment of this nature. BUT ALSO. THESE👏MOMENTS👏 There are plenty of scary moments in TMA but nothing even comes close to when you as a listener think you’ve been caught. I expected this to be a fully realised thing later on in the show but the fact that it isn’t explicitly is even better. It keeps you constantly on edge, not just for the characters but for yourself and for what your role is in the story.
