Hello, I am Lord Rowan Castleton. It's nice to meet you. 

age: 25 

Skills: I am able to play the piano (only averagely) and i can read most sheet music. I know a couple common dances, though I don't particularly like dancing. I can both read and write. 

Arranged to be married to Duchess Rosalind, a Lady of the queen's court.

I live in the hills at my father's (Roger Castleton) Manor 

Though, it is likely i will be moving to manor Lakeview. After the aforementioned wedding with miss Rosalind. 

I am a writer at heart, and at practice. I spend most of free time reading. I will read any book I can get my hands on.  I am not a religious man but i am educated in Christian beliefs as i have read the Bible many times. I went to church for most of younger years, though I don't make time to anymore. 

I don't think i like the idea of  "sexualities" It makes things so complicated. It is simply, love. Though my father thinks it naive, I believe that one day i will simply meet a person, whom I love, gender and role and money do not matter, i will love whomever. I hope that Rosalind will be this person, It will not do well for me if i am forced to be wed to someone who i do not love, so for my sake and hers i hope that I can love her.

In hoping my extended stay here at miss Rosalind's manor will give me a chance to become better aquatinted with more of the staff. it will be less stressful to move into house full of acquaintances and friends, than a house full of strangers.

I assure you miss martha, my current foggy state will pass quickly . No need to worry the butler, I'm sure he has plenty to do as it is. ( as he's saying this he takes his glasses of and cleans them and put them back on, than continues to walk on)

I wonder if i could find any books on fevers in the library? Ill just rest a little today, im sure ill feel better by dinner.

[he's walking into the library slowly opening and closing one of the heavy wooden doors. He's surprised to find a few candles in the room already lit. Carrying his own candle he walks around of the large bookcases. Behind the bookcase he see a familiar figure, Miss Martha, the duchess's lady's maid]

I wonder what she doing up so late.. ah well i hardly know what I'm doing up so late.....

ah good evening miss Martha, i hope I'm not disturbing you.

*stops spinning* *my smile immediately drops* *tries to stand and staggers into a bookcase, taking care not to knock it over*

(original accent) Oh fuck, I- (switches back) Oh, m'lord, you'll have to excuse me. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I will take myself down to the servants' quarters and-

*ruffles my skirt and looks at you*

[rowan , seeing her stumble, immediately puts down his candle rushes and forward with his hands out, he stops right before her, still offering his hands for stability]

are you alright miss? Im so sorry I didn't mean to startle you, i just came down to see if i might find a nice book to read.

[he straightens, seeing her stable again, and begins scanning the bookshelf behind her for good book to read] [he takes a step forward and begins running a finger along the books as he read the titles]

Theory ... theory ... physics ...... i wonder what kind of books Mr Turner reads . . Assuming he can read at all, he seems so put it together i'd be surprised if he couldn't . Miss Rosalind did say she liked keeping her house-workers educated...

Well yes, we have lives outside of the manor. Most workers live in the nearby village. Those who have to live here, like me, don't usually have lovers, unless it is someone else in the manor...

Well, I'm sure if you tried, you could split your life into social and personal, once you supposedly marry Rosalind. I know you are of a higher class than the staff here, but we are in fact, excellent company! Maybe you could find a true lover here or we could host some balls? I'm probably getting ahead of myself, but you could definitely settle in here.
