There were fingers that reached out, gently touching the other’s shoulder. It was but the lightest of touches, however. A mere fingertip brushing over the skin. And though there was a faint jolt coming from her partner, he would not dash as far away as possible from her anymore.

Steelblue eyes rose up to meet his and finally did her lips curve upward in a beaming smile, eyes glistening up. They had came far from the first moment they had laid eyes upon one another. And though there was no chance of throwing herself around his neck yet in a loving hug, they were getting there.

And she felt her heart overflowing with happiness when her smile was returned by her tall partner, when his lips curved upward, his head dipped down in a nod.
