The Evaluatr Chrome Extension has been updated!
The extension now adds a button alongside the Tumblr buttons in the top right of the Tumblelogs you visit. Click the button to rate the post or view its statistics.
Support has also been added for embedded Tumblr posts.
Install the Chrome Extension and start rating.
Support for other browsers is coming soon.
Issue 2 is available
Due to popular demand, Issue has returned in the form of Issue 2. Issue 2 is more refined and packs many more options to customize the look and layout.

Evaluatr has a Chrome extension!
A major new version of Evaluatr is available, you can read about the shiny newness on the brand new website.
If you haven’t heard of Evaluatr before, it’s an extension for Tumblr that allows you to rate posts out of 5 stars. You can also add it to your blog or theme if you are a theme developer. Posts that are rated appear on the Evaluatr website, ranked by their popularity.
The Chrome extension puts the rate button on your dashboard, get it from the Chrome Store.
Issue is the first theme to include Evaluatr
Issue by Pixel Lab and ndrwjms now includes Evaluatr integration, the new tool by Pixel Lab that invites your visitors to rate your posts out of five.
Update: Star-Aurora by Level82 introduced Evaluatr integration in its latest update.

Strange Foreign Beauty is beta testing Evaluatr, a Tumblr plugin by Pixel Lab, that allows visitors to rate posts out of five stars.
Rating posts helps bloggers understand what their audience enjoy and what they don’t. When you rate a post, the average is calculated and added to the post as a tag. On Strange Foreign Beauty, you can find posts by their ratings, once they’ve been rated:

Splash has been updated to version 1.3. This update includes some major and minor additions. Here's the update changelog:
Splash now uses Tumblr's global theme variables, which ultimately means your blog will look the same across all Tumblr's platforms.
The Splash typography has been slightly adjusted.
The global menu can now be presented as a header below the Splash but fixed after scrolling past it (disable the compact menu option).
The global menu can now be light or dark.
The avatar in the global menu is slightly outside the menu for more space.
Tags menu! A new option for a tags menu in the global menu has been added, simply write each with commas separating each one. Eg. Landscape, Black and White, Design.
An option to show note counts when hovering over posts has been added.
The postbox can now be viewed in fullscreen (the entire screen, not just the browser).
Photo posts with click-through links now go to the click-through link when clicked instead of zooming.
Search results are now sorted in three columns instead of two, plus, there are more results displayed per load.
The Splash background now fades in once loaded, plus, 98% more animation everywhere else.
Images in post captions/bodies are resized to fit, no more overlapping.
Masonry is now refreshed after images have completely loaded, even less overlapping posts.
The default height of Splash is 90% instead of 100%, it's still an option though.
The theme's assets have been compacted so load times are slightly faster.
A Responsive Theme For Design Lovers
Splash is a clean, modern Tumblr theme with a big introduction from Pixel Lab. Splash uses a grid layout combined with infinite scroll and a powerful lightbox for a responsive experience. Search in Splash dwarfs all other searches I’ve messed with, giving you a simple and minimalist overview of query results without leaving the page.
Splash is for the design savvy and is available for $5 from Theme Cloud.
Splash version 1.2 is now available. This update is huge, it includes many new features, options, adjustments and fixes, here are the highlights:
A new advanced search has been added, when searching a blog a menu will appear with the results. An option has also been added to choose the default layout of the search menu - grid or list.
The menu now has a section for social sites, the options are - 500px, Behance, deviantART, Dribbble, Facebook, Flickr, Foursquare, Google Plus, Instagram, Lastfm, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Rdio, Soundcloud, Spotify, Twitter*, Vimeo, Vine and YouTube. The subscribe button has also been moved here.
The splash has been improved for performance. The background scrolls smoother and an option to centralize the background has been added. The splash may now also be one of two sizes - 90% or 100% of the window height.
An option to animate the splash arrow has been added, there are four options - None, Bounce, Pulse and Slide.
The Postbox has been overhauled for performance but not without improvements to its general appearance. An option has been added to invert the Postbox (white on black). The next post button now functions correctly.
The Floatplayer has been improved, it now loads faster and scales correctly on smaller screen.
Menus behave correctly when opened a second time in quick succession.
The background color of the hover graphic for photo posts without captions is now black instead of white.
Audio posts now fill the entire width in vertical mode when captions are hidden.
Tumblr photosets no longer show an additional photo on the index page.
The Pinterest share button now works with photosets, when the button is clicked, an option appears to select which photo to share.
The next and previous page buttons have been moved from the footer to fixed on the left and right side of the page respectively. (They are hidden when the splash is on screen or if endless scrolling is enabled.)
Permalink pagination has been introduced and matches the pagination described above.
Pages that aren't the first page will automatically scroll down past the splash.
Photos with exif data have a button in the top right which, when clicked, shows a menu with the information. See this post.
Captions are now centralized when a photo or video is enlarged on the permalink page.
Many theme options have been rewritten to be easier to understand. IE. 'Hide Post Captions' is now 'Show Post Captions'.
Major improvements to overal stability.
*Twitter must be enabled in your blog's settings, there is no option in the theme's appearance options.
Trend is a fashion-forward theme designed for Tumblr. The grid layout provides a level of consistency perfectionists desire, but Trend's most notable feature is its seemingly simple sidebar which expands on cue to provide an advanced directory.

The theme is available for free. However, it is version 1 which means it is a public beta, you may encounter a minor issue while using it, if you do - please report it.
Splash update
Splash has been updated to Version 1.1.2. This update addresses two issues:
The loading icon for infinite scroll now hides when the last page is loaded.
The next post button in the Post Box now works correctly.
If you have Splash installed, simply reinstall it from your Theme Cloud purchases.

Have you heard about the Float Player?
Introduced in Splash V1.1, the Float Player is a powerful new feature that allows visitors to listen to music posts without leaving the main page or even opening the post. Simply hover over an audio post (this doesn't include SoundCloud or Spotify embeds) and click on the headphones.
The Float Player will spring from the right and you may control the music like any other player. To close it, simply click the headphones again.
The Float Player is exclusively available in Splash. Why not try it out on the Splash preview blog?
Splash Version 1.1 has landed
Splash has been available for two weeks and as a limited introductory offer - it was free. Today the offer ended but the theme has been updated to 1.1 and it brings a lot.
Included with version 1.1:
Introduction of the Float Player - The Float Player allows you to play audio posts without having to go to the audio post's permalink page or open the Postbox. An audio player will appear in the bottom right with the song info, album art, controls (play, pause and scrub) and a cute little visualizer. When the Float Player is open, you can continue scrolling and viewing posts. The Float Player, like the Postbox, is an original feature only found in Splash.
Option to have a grid layout or a vertical layout - the vertical layout is a single column of posts, however posts with media and captions are separated into two columns. Vertical posts include a footer similar to the one on the permalink page.
Option to show Facebook link in the global menu.
Option to show a link for a random page in the global menu.
Option to show the Subscribe (RSS) link in the global menu.
Option to change the title of the pages sub menu.
Option to change the margin around posts.
Option to hide the post-hover.
Clicking outside a menu now closes it.
Radically redesigned the post-hover design, the post-hover now includes a like button, the Postbox button and the Float Player button on audio posts.
Small appearance fixes; removed a double border in sub menus, reduced the size of permalink menus, positioned the Splash background to the center (horizontally), post notes are not paraphrased to remove important information.
Small under-the-hood fixes; the infinite scroll loading icon is more reliable, the Postbox code is 3% less bloated, permalink menus no longer create weird white space, tags are no longer draggable in the Postbox.
Even more mobile friendly, the permalink and Postbox are now responsive.

Kinley has been updated
Pixel Lab theme, Kinley, has been updated to version 3.4. This update is huge, while it mainly addresses issues it also introduces some small new features. Here's a list of the new features:
Sticky posts - this new appearance tag will insert a post before every other post until it's pushed onto the second page. Simply tag a post 'sticky'.
New post-hover menu design - the old menu was looking a little dated, this new design is cleaner and modern.
Here are the fixes:
Large posts are now supported by all formats.
When a page is loading, a loading symbol appears.
The default background image has been removed. You can get it here.
The lightbox is much more stable and easier to access, simply click an image or the date.
Large posts will now be resized to a smaller size when the browser is smaller than the posts.
The archive, ask and submit links are hidden when using the theme on a phone.
Options like "Title image height", "Text above ask box" and "Text above submit box" have been removed due to redundancy.
The background color now correctly displays on the page.
Audio posts have been updated to include Tumblr's new audio post formats.
Photosets are now more fluid.
Appearance tags are easier to understand and add to posts.
Video posts on the index page are now previews instead of the actual embed.
