A Placid Island of Ignorance in the Midst of Black Seas of Infinity (Starter for Bluntneurologist)
Ā Matsuda gulped at the rather disturbing sight. Why would such a being actually approach him? Though this was not something that should be questioned at the moment, he couldnāt help but wonderā¦āIā¦I appreciate your offer, Hermaeus Mora, and I will take it into serious consideration after inspecting this book. I thank you for your kindness though. Giving a mere mortal such a chance with knowledge that we could simply not fathom to understand under regular circumstances is simplyā¦Too generous of you.ā
The young neurologist rose up from his sit and made his way near the strange apparition, staring down onto itās āmouthā for a few seconds before abruptly looking away and down to the book. As he picked it up and opened, he couldnāt help but notice itās ancient, almost rusted state. The pages were dim, dusty and almost broken, but that was only true for the parts not filled with words. Where there were words, the book had stayed in perfect condition, in fact, that area almost shined in contrast to the other pieces of paper.
He gulped again and took a few steps back from the being that stood in front of him before actually beginning his reading of the book, unknowing of what to expect from it.
Mora chuckles, before blighted, green tendrils emerge from the book and gasp Matsuda's head. Within moments, the world shifts and changes from the library they were in previously, to a green hellscape, with platforms full of holes, and walls made of rotten books. The sky is of chartreuse coloration, with black tendrils drooping from it. Page flow throughout the especially colder than normal air, and gravity seems slightly lighter.
"Welcome, Matsuda. Welcome, to my home. A realm of endless knowledge, and equal peril. These Black Books will bring you here, but, unfortunately for you, your body is still back on little Earth. Meaning, I doubt you'll be able to linger long. As you can already tell, you still have the book. Read it again, and you can leave. I hope you don't have to large a fear of organics, there are many here."

Ā Okay Matsuda, pull yourself together. Your fear is known. Your fear is blatantly obvious. Thereās no point on not showing it and thereās not enough reason not to speak calmly. Just take a deep breath and think for a moment. āā¦ā He breathed deeply and closed his eyes. After a few seconds, he spoke. āWho am I to decline a request from a being far superior than my pitiful self? As far as I am concerned, that would certainly benefit me, but I donāt see how MY knowledge may benefit you, oh Hermaeus Mora, Gardener of Men.ā
"Benefit? There is no benefit. Benefit is a thing of mortals. As I said, knowledge is knowledge. I already have enough knowledge to shatter your entire world. Would you prefer that? No, no, I seek to collect knowledge, to archive it. But my knowledge may be of, what was it, benefit, yes, to you. It's a relatively easy deal, and I'm giving you the option to back out. I have waited a very long time, Matsuda, I can wait a little longer. You'll get your hands dirty, several times, in fact. But I can tell, I can read it, you've done so before. "
The central eye of the visage slowly changes, to that of an open mouth, lined with dagger-like fangs. A large, cumbersome book slowly slides out of the cavernous empty and falls onto the ground.
"Here, consider this a... taste, of what I have to offer. Surely, a few innocent lives means, well, nothing, to one such as yourself. Though I do suggest moving the book to somewhere less, well, privately public. Last I checked, it wasn't on the list. I also suggest you read it when you are ready for... out of body experiences."

Ā Yasuke was reading in the library, sitting on a wooden chair while his feet were raised over the table. He was investigating about the secrets this world held, yet were hidden from the civilianās sights. That is, if those civilians werenāt members of the Hopeās Peak staff. In a small, dusty room of the library, there were files and books specifying on said secrets and the implications they had on the outside world. The only person he actively met during these sessions was Byakuya Togami, the one and only student that, while not being part of Hopeās Peak per se, was a figure influential enough inside of the schoolās hierarchy to have access to this information.
As soon as the strange, outworldish being appeared, the boy held himself down to not pathetically fall from his chair. He didnāt understand this situation in the slightest, but if a creature of this measure had taken interest in him, he had to compel. āā¦The name is Yasuke, sir. Yasuke Matsuda.ā He said while trying his best not to stutter.
"Matsuda, Matsuda. I like that. I am Hermaeus Mora. The Gardener of Men. Knower of the Unknown. Master of Fates. You have no reason to hide your fear, or your surprise. I canĀ smell it. I have...Ā chosen you to be a sort of...Ā information font.Ā I know what you seek, what you desire, I can read you, like a book. Knowledge. Knowledge is power, to some, but to many others, Knowledge is more than that, knowledge is... simply that. Knowledge. The most valuable artifact across all worlds. And what Knowledge this one has. Endless secrets. Knowledge I require. Knowledge that will belong to me. For I am the MASTER..."
" Of The Tides of Fate. "
"Of course, this won't be an unfair deal. Knowledge for Knowledge. You feed me, I feed you. A perfect business. What do you say, Matsuda?"
A Placid Island of Ignorance in the Midst of Black Seas of Infinity (Starter for Bluntneurologist)
It had been only years since Hermaeus Mora had arrived in this realm, in pursuit of new knowledge. To his dismay, however, not a single world he had passed carried what he'd sought after. Only dust, barely intelligent lifeforms, or talentless tribals. Of course, until her found a quaint little world, filled to the brim with souls. Yet, even furthering his irritation, very few of these souls could provide him what he desired, and those that did were too... stable, to properly harvest from. No gods nor demons had shown themselves upon the world, if they existed at all, pushing those upon it into a Dark Age of Technology. Of course, Mora wanted the secrets of this technology, and the secrets of those who made it. Mora waited, years and years, imprinting himself on the mind of an american author by the name of Howard, hoping that it would tell the world of his existence. No luck. Technology and knowledge evolved alongside Hermaeus, while he simply could not yet grasp it. Anger. However, at the pinnacle, and soon downfall, of Human Knowledge, Hermaeus discovered yet another being of interest, and shortly decided to reveal himself.Ā
Slowly, a black mass of Tendrils and ever changing, rotting eyes formed in the corner of Matsuda's eye. An odd sort of aura accompanied the arrival of the being, the sounds of constant drumming, and waves crashing against the shores, and whispers of vile darkness. The creature chuckled deeply, before speaking
"Greetings, mortal. I have taken... deep interest, in your life. Worry not, I am not here to harm you, of course, not yet. Rather, I am interested in... knowledge. And my many senses have pointed to you."
"And,Ā of course, the first inquiry is soĀ simple. Tell me, child. What is your name."
āHermaeus Mora is the daedric prince of fate, knowledge and memory. In his rare dealings with mortals, he often chooses to appear as a grotesque mass of tentacles.ā

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
"Human memory? I'm afraid I don't have those, my autonomous friend. Unless, of course, you mean those who I have stolen. Ā In that case, I suppose, it is, naturally, the birth of a child."
