Oh, there was an Open Tennis in our Ventrue chronicle of Chicago and the ladies of the Camarilla went all-in in the exhibition game that night.

There were A LOT of money and power dinamics at stake, so María Luisa wanted everything to be perfect so she could play (AND WIN) fair and square against her hot Toreador toxic situationship Elizabeth and win.

The Ventrue coterie was in charge to get everything as perfect as possible. They investigated, confronted people (almost made some of them going in a fury frenzy), impersonated people to manipulate other people and made some “marketing” schemes to have everything in order to the big event (and they even “invested” a little to make their capital go up)

Post tennis event, the amount of money in game was nothing in comparison to the tension between the two ladies that totally hate each other. María Luisa won the match (2 games to one) and went to grab Elizabeth’s face and whisper something very normal really close to her mouth, because that’s a very normal thing to do.

Also it happened in front of the whole stadium but nobody could notice 👀

World of Darkness OCs are particularly funny because you guys will just be posting about them out of context like "damn Nathan got fired from Walmart again" and the Nathan in question is a 3000 year old vampire from a city that no longer exists

So I've been thinking about relationship between Koldunic Sorcery and Infernalism. There's certainly some similarities between the two - both are based on making contact with otherworldly entities to solicit services/power from them.

It's kinda hard to tell if one is older than the other, but we know that both ARE incredibly old practices.

This specifically makes me wonder - Koldunism is almost exclusively associated with the Tzimisce and is very much rooted in the animistic view of the world (not entirely unlike how werewolves view and deal with spirits), which makes me wonder whether at some point after the formation of the sects, the Camarilla (or more specifically - the Tremere) embarked on a similar smear campaign as they did with the Salubri. After all, the Tzimisce were one of the founding clans of the Sabbat, so painting their magic as foul, pagan and infernal might be something that the Tremere - good, "christian" vampires did to further their monopoly on sorcery in the Camarilla.
