Nico and the Niners Theory (sorry its so long)
So at the start of the video we see 9 towers in Dema, and remember that Dema means “tower of silence”.
if we look at the plan/layout of Dema the centre with 9 circles could easily be these towers from this video, only seen from above, and the 9 circles in the centre of Dema appear to match the cover of Blurryface.
As Josh has confirmed Blurryface and Trench are linked and this similarity then made me want to see if there seemed to be any significant ties to blurryface during the video, other than the towers.
So let’s move on in the video to the flower. Tyler seems to be keeping flowers from each escape attempt from Dema so at this point there have been 5-6 attempts to leave.
The flower he is holding could very well be from the jumpsuit video, that would be the obvious assumption.
BUT as we know nothing is obvious with Dema and all that is happening. I think that because Tyler didn’t have any yellow tape on his jacket or black marks on his neck that NATN is set before Jumpsuit.
The Light in Tyler’s room is clearly of importance given how he is dancing around it.
Later in the video we see Lights similar in the centre of the bishops ritual, this then makes me think that these lights are a way to control the people of Dema and keep them trapped there/keep them submissive.
As soon as I seen the light through it instantly put me in mind of the video of Fairly Local, in that video the time we see a long light like that it was red to signify Blurryface, but in that video white light is heavily featured through windows and in the light of Tylers Mic. Fairly Local was set in an empty warehouse type building….and Dema has an industrial looking vibe to it. what if fairly local was in Dema?!
And on that point what if all of Blurryface was in Dema, just in different areas and back then Josh was still in Dema. It would explain the handshake, cause that definitely was hinting at something. Stressed out could have been a Dream that Tyler or Josh had about finally being out of Dema, and when the line “wake up you need to make money” is being called to the boys its actually them being told “Time to wake up” as a hint that its not real and they need to get out of dema. It would explain how Tyler has the Red Hat and White glasses from the Blurryface era with him cause the bishops don’t strike me a people that would let the boys pack before bringing them to Dema….
Another parallel with Fairly Local and NATNis when we see Tyler through the dirty glass/veil, it matches to Tyler behind the fogged glass in FL.
When we see Josh and the other Banditos walking through Dema for Tyler the other people in Dema seem scared, closing windows and hiding.
why would they be afraid? it made me think of Clancy’s letter from trench, where he talks about Dema and how he almost misses it because it familiar. is that why these people are avoiding the banditos? But even Tyler appeared frightened (another reason why I feel this is before jumpsuit) he turned to run from the Banditos but was faced with more on the other side.
This made e wonder if the line in jumpsuit “Spirit in my room, friend or foe?” was related to the banditos? are they the spirits? it would make sense why Tyler would fear them then as he doesn’t know if the intentions of these people are pure until Josh reveals himself, making Tyler smile and then leads the handshake.
Next is the part of the video with the boys performing. As I have already said Dema means tower of silence and so by Tyler and Josh performing they are waking the rest of the revolution and literally severing ties with dema. and it’s no coincidence why that particular part of the song is performed.

Its quite literally a call to arms, breaking the silence to make people fight against Dema and the bishops.
NOW HERES WHERE MY THEORY GETS WILD;
what if what we have seen in the jumpsuit video is staged. Tyler gets out of dema and is headed for trench at the end of NATN, so what if the Banditos make a plan for Tyler to get caught in trench so they can follow them back to Dema, make the Bishops feel like they won and they have a sneak attack to overthrow the bishops and free Dema, and this mysterious 3rd video with show that?
