The Forest
Teaser: Journals from the Forest
June 18, 1891
What an incredible place! I have only just entered, yet I feel I know this forest like a friend, and sense none of the malicious intent others have superstitiously claimed. The wonders held here are beyond my wildest imagination. Remnants from every time and place lay covered in greenery beyond every corner. And how beautiful the nature is! If you can even call it “nature”. Hidden in the tree trunks are strange eyes and spirographs, there are plants in the shape of human people, animals with malformations, and a host of other conundrums I cannot begin to explain.
Oh, the stories I shall tell! The whole village is afraid of the forest, and soon I return, arms laden with fruits in every color of the rainbow. I cannot wait to see how they react! I shall be a brave town hero who has brought forth the greatest discovery of the century. But… how should I keep others from polluting my paradise? I suppose I shall convince them only I can enter, playing into the dangers they so naively believe in. Then no one shall defile this hallowed ground and I will still be able to share my discoveries. Yes, I believe I rather like that thought.
And now, I must press on with my research! I have already been stopped too long, but I had to log my findings from the first few hours. Farewell!

The Unseen Path- synopsis
When a group of students from Whittlewood Academy are drawn into a mysterious Forest—a labyrinth of twisting oaks steeped in rumors and superstition—they awaken strange powers they never wanted. Noah can bend time and space, when he isn’t trying. Vi can control vines, but her sharp tongue may be her undoing. Lila’s glowing touch can heal, while Rhodes speaks to the dead, and Elias learns what it means to fly.
The group isn't the only ones here...they meet survivors Henry, Connor, and June, who help them survive their encounters. Learning they could be trapped here forever, the new group sets out on The Unseen Path, the only known way out.
Trapped in a sentient prison that feeds on their every misstep, the group must decide: can they defeat the Forest and escape? Or will the Forest claim them, one by one?
