Can I let you in on a secret? The only reason I would ever be against TVEC ever being out on the screen (either as movies or tv show) is because I don't trust that anything could do Phoenix's hair justice. But then if they did become movies I think I would probably die of happiness.

I relate to this on a spiritual level.One part of my brain is like: ‘I need to see these beautiful books alive and on a screen!’… and then the other side of my brain is like: ‘but you know no actors would ever be able to do Lincoln and Phoenix justice, right?’So I live in a constant state of wishing TVEC would become a movie/tv show, but secretly hoping I could just take the characters from in my mind and place them onto the screen.

Did you ever hear certain songs during some parts of the book? Like "Wildest Dreams" for the scene on the mountain, "The Heart Wants What It Wants" for the part where they were trying so hard not to be together, "This Love" for end credits (which I so picture for the movies that HAVE to happen), and "Thinking Out Loud" played by the band at the wedding, and then Linc asks Vi to dance and they totally dance like in the music video, and pardon me while I curl up in a ball of feels over here! <3 <3

Yes! My whole life is basically allocating songs to books I have read… The song ‘Battlescars’ by Guy Sebastian is perfect for TVEC and so is ‘You Are in Love’ by Taylor Swift.

And we need to create a prayer circle for these books to become movies because can you imagine!?! I would explode! <3

am i the only one thinking ian somerhalder would be the best actor for phoenix? i was imagining phoenix as ian since book 3:o and am i also the only one shipping phoenix and violet?!:0 if there will be a series with an other actor for phoenix, me=x.x

I would love to have this discussion about actor choices! I’m always so interested to see how others view characters, and how they differ from my views.

For me, I don’t really picture Ian as Phoenix, but I have to admit he would be a good actor for the role.

And again, personally, I ship Violet and Lincoln but to each their own :D

The last news we got about the TV series was back in 2012, and I haven’t seen anything about it since…I’m sure Jessica will keep us informed if any more information comes about, but until then all we can do is hope and pray. I’m sorry if this breaks your heart! I’m wishing as hard as you that we get more news soon!

Honestly I’m not sure, as there is a lot of speculation and rumours going around.. Until we get confirmation from Jessica or her team, I wouldn’t get your hopes up yet.. But hopefully in the future, something will come up!

Is there a tag for quotes from "Embrace"? I've only just started it and I don't want to read through all the spoilers of book 4 on your blog. Also is this book worth reading? It seems really cliche so far but I can't leave it half read. . . xxx

I’m actually not sure if there is a tag for quotes, as this fandom is quite small and there doesn’t seem to be that many posts about the books.. Have you tried looking at places like Goodreads? Or maybe just Google ‘Embrace quotes’ or something along those lines… Sorry if this is not helpful at all!But yes I definitely think this book is worth reading. I thought it had a great mix of romance, action and even humour. I loved it, but to each their own :)
