I cannot explain how much I love the Fanfic Airplanes (thiam).

I read it 2 weeks ago for the first time and I must say that I fell in love with it.

First, the writing is fantastic, we really travel through the USA and all the descriptions, the conversations, the feelings, I was absorbed in the story as if I was the main character. It was magical.

Thiam and Theo made me experience emotions I haven't felt in a long time, the euphoria of running away for adventures, the passion and excitement of starting a relationship with flirting and the thrill of new feelings.

When the two of them had serious discussions, or a moment was going on I held my breath and was absorbed in what was happening. The excitement with each new page was just awesome.

Also, it was a whole new universe for me. And I really had that refreshing, new feeling. But then again, without the hard work of writing the characters, their adventures and their feelings, it would have been impossible.

Anyway, I could go on for hours on this topic. Just to say that I loved airplanes, if you haven't read it: RUN TO READ IT. It has become my favorite fanfic, if not my favorite book ever. I'll definitely be re-reading it in the next few weeks, but I'm giving myself time to process everything ahha.

He briefly wonders what he must have looked like, in the half second between steeling his resolve and leaping forward to catch Liam’s lips with his own, hanging in the balance of heart-stopping terror and salvation. He wonders if that’s going to show up in the photo or if there is no language, no medium, capable of performing such a feat.

So I’ll admit I remember fuck all of teen wolf kitsune lore but Hear me out anyway yeah?

So kitsunes age like hella slow right?

And now I’m thinking about Kira coming back to beacon hills and rejoining the pack, or what’s left of it in beacon hills (hello puppy pack)

And at first it’s really not noticeable that everyone is aging and she’s like, not, but by the time they hit their mid twenties it becomes pretty clear that while Kira still looks exactly the same as she did at 17 the others have grown up to look like legit adults.

Except for Theo who also looks baby faced and so they all ignore it for a few more years. 

but then it gets to the point where they can’t ignore it when the crows feet start to notice at the corner of the others eyes and Masons cracking jokes about his knees and back not being what they used to be.

And suddenly it hits that Kira is definitely not aging, and neither is Theo, the pack eventually realise that as the dread doctors first success things got fudged and somewhere along the way he got some super solider level of aging.

Again, they sort of ignore it, they know its there, its harder to ignore, but they can still pretend its just funny that Theo and Kira get carded before going into a bar despite pushing 30.

But then the grey hairs start coming in and Masons jokes about his knees aren’t jokes anymore, all that running from evil beasties does hell on the joints, and someone assumes Theo is Liams fucking SON and the pack is left facing the truth of what Kira and Theo aging slowly (or not at all who fucking KNOWS what is kitsune lore) means.

And suddenly Mason insisting he has the specific amount of candles for his age crammed onto his cake is less funny because its just a reminder that they’re getting older. Every birthday, every holiday just feels like the ticking of a clock.

They stay through all of them of course, some more painful than others.

Mason and Corey’s daughter points out she looks older than them one day, she means it as a joke but everything goes quiet because…she does and everyone can see it.

wHAT I’M SAYING!!

Is just how fucking angsty it would be yeah

Kira and Theo slowly bonding over the years over the realization that they’re gonna be all the other has once everyone else is gone. 

Them going to funerals together, or, them skipping funerals together when it gets too much.

Theo finds a ‘cure’ to his ageing eventually. but quickly destroys all his research and pretends it never happened. Liam died three years ago, the last of their pack to go thanks to the werewolfitude, still, only five years after Coreys death and despite how much Theo wishes he could go with Liam he knows he can’t leave Kira alone.

Just!!!!!! Kira and Theo being kinda immortal together and having to watch their friends and family die. Days where Theo wishes he were back in hell because at least there it was only ever him getting hurt, at least there he didn’t have to watch countless people he loved wither away.
