Sometimes patrols werenβt the most exciting things in the world. It was probably for the best, it meant that the world as a whole was safer than normal, but Peter also kinda loved the thrill of heroism. Heβd gotten used to always being busy, hunting down robbers and drug dealers and whoever else crossed his path. It was like a never-ending game of cops and robbers!

Right now, he was hanging upside down from a web, reading an Intro to Chem textbook for uni. Yawning, Peter looked around his book and noticed a person striding towards him. ββSup?β Peter greeted, dropping the book so he could wave. βHowβs it hanging?β

She could tell all was quiet by the fact that he was reading, a slight smirk forming to her lips at the sight.Β βDunno, spider. Carefully, Feliciaβs fingertip guides the book upward and out of her view of him, grin growing as the cogs in her head begin to spin.Β βI know this book must be riveting stuff, but I think you and I could have a lot more fun if we take advantage of just how quiet it is tonight. felicia is an only child to a wealthy family in queens
her dad was a βtraveling salesmanβ so he was away a bunch on business trips and such, leaving feliciaβs mom to do most of the parenting
her father always told her that if sheβs going to do something, to strive and be the very best at it.Β however her mother was never satisfied with her βbestβ and often pushed felicia further when she took up an interest in activities such as cheerleading and gymnastics
when felicia was 13, she was told by her mother that her father died in a plane crash over the andes mountains in south america tho this was a cover up for him being in jail. she later finds out that her father was an infamous cat burglar (via the newspapers) which made her put 2 and 2 together and realize his βbusiness tripsβ were bullshit
after being mugged felicia learned of the βexcitementβ that comes with her father's career, leading her to then learn self defense and enroll in martial arts classes where she was trained in the okinawan art of goju ryu. in this time, felicia also took the time out to learn how to pick locks and crack open safes
when felicia was a freshman in college, she was date r*ped by her boyfriend at the time. she was horrified and angered beyond belief that he stole her life from her, despite the consequences felicia decided to murder him. she put aside her studies to learn different styles of fighting before seeking him out, only to find that he died in a drunk driving accident.
she was angry she couldnβt get her revenge ( and to this day, itβs still something that affects her from time to time ) but ended up channeling all of that into following in her fatherβs footsteps, becoming the black cat
again her fatherβs teachings of being the best at whatever she puts her mind to resonated when she took up the title of black cat, becoming the self proclaimed QUEEN of crime :~)
