#✒︎ ᴡᴏᴏ ʜᴇᴇ ╎ ❛ with all her heart. ❜#(( hEY GF !!#noah fence but !! i love woo hee so much . its not even my baek ah bias i just LOVE her THANK U & GOOD NITE !! ))

❃ = dancing with them (hubaekje-gisaeng)

though he’s the most artistic out of his brothers, baek ah simply isn’t made to dance. fluidity came through his fingers, pressing pencil to paper or guiding fingertips against strings. he knew timing, pace, things translated from his knowledge of music to dance, however, the naturalness he found in making music found no place in his talent for dance. unfortunately, he knew this from experience — the first time he’d tried to keep up dance with her had ended up a disaster ( involving embarrassment and maybe a sprained ankle ).

woo hee, on the other hand, radiates elegance in her movement. in every performance, her grace is incomparable. it’s a source of both admiration and envy , although the former always outweighs the last.

his hands settle awkwardly at her waist, as they always seem to do, and it’s always woo hee who has to guide the dance. he follows her prompts to the best of his ability ( though admittedly lacking ) and, once more to experience, finds that simply doing what she tells him to is better than trying to be fancy and impress her.

❝ you’re good at this. ❞ he comments abruptly, slightly breathless and trying to cover it up. amusement tugs at the corners of his lips and he laughs softly. normally, it was baek ah who instructed woo hee, following the choreography she’d made for him to compare to her practice. how odd it was to be on the other end of that.

an uncontrollable smile spreads across baek ah’s face as his fingertips linger on her hands, moving his fingers down to grasp her hands in his. their secret meetings away from public eye were sacred, precious to him as if each moment were a treasure in itself. though their relationship wasn’t unknown, the intimacy and privacy that the two of them could enjoy under the cover of night was much preferable to the passing whispers and rushed affections they shared in the day. their exchanges under the lantern light were gentle, slow, so that they could be savoured.
