Confusion

What is it with thinking. And what is it when suddenly the heart does the thinking.

On one hand it says "come on, it's impossible for you to get anywhere, you are not the right one for this job."

But on the other it says "don't give up, it's worth it."

The thing is I think of both to be right. It is worth waiting and being patient although it won't go anywhere. I'm just confused whether I'm right or I'm right.

Kingdom Hearts Theory 2

I remembered another little theory/headcannon that my roommate I came up with last night and wanted to share since this apparently how I’m spending my morning.

Remember when Roxas fought Riku at the end of 358/2 Days? Epic battle. Super badass. Probably one of the best of the series, right? Damn right it was. BUT have you ever found it odd that when Riku shows up (weaponless) and Roxas sees him atop the Skyscraper of Memory, Roxas literally throws Riku the Oblivion keyblade before they fight? Why would he do that? He has no idea who Riku is or what he wants and Roxas is currently fleeing the Organization. Some dude shows up wearing an Organization coat looking like he wants to start some shit and Roxas just gives him a weapon out of some sense of fair play? Nope.

Roxas throws the Oblivion keyblade not to Riku but rather AT Riku.

Consider that as far as Roxas is aware, he is THE ONLY person who can wield a keyblade. He doesn’t remember Xion by this point, and up until now has never interacted with another keyblade wielder. No other organization member is able to wield it beside him. So he’s leaving TWTNW and suddenly all these heartless show up, he fights them off and looks up to see some dude in an Organization coat standing on the skyscraper watching him. Naturally, Roxas can only assume the heartless are his doing and he goes to attack Riku, running up the skyscraper towards him. Roxas fights off more heartless as he ascends and then throws the Oblivion keyblade at Riku. If you look closely at this throw in the cutscenes it is very clearly not just a throw but specifically the move Strike Raid which spins horizontally at the target like a frisbee. Roxas intended to hit Riku with the Strike Raid and thus got a nasty shock when much to his surprise Riku grabs the Keyblade out of the air and is actually able to wield it. This explains the “wtf” look Roxas gives Riku as they pass each other and Roxas’s monetary pause at the top of the Skyscraper before engaging in battle once more.

Roxas has never seen someone stop the keyblade like that let alone be able to wield it. Of course he doesn’t know that Riku can only wield it because while he has yet to manifest his keyblade Way to the Dawn, he still has the power he inherited from Terra that enables him to use keyblades.

Maybe this is less a theory and more a headcannon, but it’s one of my personal favs that we came up with.

Mind on fire

I just can’t stop thinking of her. On one hand I kinda lost hope for us to get somewhere closer again, on the other hand I don’t want to give up yet. It really is conplicated and I’m just confused. But that’s just what love is....and my body doesn’t like it at all. I fell sick more often and I get the urge to throw up. Why is love so strange. Why am I so strange? Walking all day with my mind on fire, can’t stop thinking of you......
