Return to Midgard

The first thing Natasha notices about him is that his long locks have been cut short. It’s definitely a good look on him, but something that still shocks her senses, and she knows she’ll have to get used to it. It isn’t until a full minute later that she notices he’s wearing an eye patch. Blinking back her surprise, she fights the urge to ask him about it, because she knows that if he wants her to know, he’ll tell her. Part of her wants to ask where he’s been all this time, to know what he’s been doing while he’s been away and no one could reach him. She doesn’t, knows that it really isn’t her business, and she knows that you shouldn’t push things like that.
She leads him to the apartment, lets him in, following behind him. It doesn’t take him long before he’s opening up, telling her everything that’s happened in the time he’s been gone. She moves to comfort him, though she knows she isn’t very good at this sort of thing. "You okay?“ She asks, watching him remove his clothes, an appreciative whistle leaving her lips. "If I’d known we were already getting naked, I would have worn something more comfortable.”
She’s pushing to her feet, closing the distance between the two of them, fingers ghosting over his skin, “You look like you’re in pain, but I don’t see any marks.” She knows that if she’d been anyone else, she would have not noticed the slight changes in his expression, but she’s been trained to read people. She allows her fingers to press more firmly against his flesh, see if she can feel any irregularities, but finds nothing.
When she pulls her hands back, she looks up to find him looking down at her speaking, heat covering her neck and cheeks, even as she tries to fight it back. "I could say the same for you.“ She murmurs, hand moving to rest on his chest. "Never thought I’d be attracted to a guy with an eye patch, but you… you make it work.”
He wasn’t entirely certain of what he was feeling. He had faint memories of his time with Jane Foster. Their short lived romance. If anything he had been thankful for her opening up his eyes. Introducing him to Midgard customs.
“Not in the best of shape,” he said. “Still, not entirely certain of what hit me back in space.” He couldn’t even begin to speculate. The universe was vast. He supposed he could visit the Wizard...Stephen Strange again. He had managed to guide him and Loki back to their father before he had passed on. “Don’t even know how I ended up in New York.”
He closed his eyes at her touch. He couldn’t recall how long it had been since he had human contact. He had been traversing the Nine Realms for how long? It wasn’t clear to him anymore.
He moved his hands along her back. Just taking her in. A part of himself wanted to brag about his title as King. His earned status and protector of his people, yet, as it was he was somewhat back to how things how almost all began. Except he wasn’t powerless. Just minus Mjolnir.
He doesn’t hesitate to be bold with his actions. He pulls her in tight. His hands gripping onto her ass cheeks, lifting her up into his arms. “Is it wrong of me to miss your red hair?” he asked, holding her securely in his arms. “It’s good to see a familiar face. To be in the presence of such beauty.”
He lowered his head to down to her neck. Kissing and leaving a trail of love bites in tow. His hands kneading her cheeks. He had concerns he should have been focusing on, yet, he had no doubt there was a reason they had been reunited. He made no attempt to resist her. Had no desire to.
