There is going to be another BL drama release based on another novel by Chai Jidan (author of Counterattack) called "Addicted". The series
I’ve been watching this webseries on Youtube for a week “Addicted/Heroin Chinese BL Webseries 上癮网络剧 .” I am currently loving it. For a webseries, this is great, and I think there will be a DVD available also. The characters are funny, the storyline is believable. Its a story of taboo: Step brothers falling for each other. Currently, there are 10 ep eng subbed on youtube, and I think the 11th just came out today or is coming out today (luckily its all english subbed). It seems that Bai Luo Yin’s friends are also supposed to have some chemistry between them (based off of pics I’ve seen online) however I have yet to see anything in the series that refers to that relationship. All in all, I find this to be an entertaining series for laid back days.

I did have certain problems with it. The fact that Gu Hai is not portrayed as a bad person even though he goes behind his girlfriend’s back and falls in love with Luo Yin. In fact, his girlfriend is painted as the criminal instead of the victim to help justify the relationship in the series. Also, Gu Hai suddenly becomes gay but does not question anything or have any internal battle. However, when Luo Yin’s friend rushes to his side during the basket ball incident, Gu Hai paints him to be a gay sissy (as an insult). I wonder when will he realize that he himself is gay. Lastly and sadly, since it is made in China, certain parts legally have to be cut out for moral reasons. But I think it may be possible to access an uncut version of the series (though it may not have eng subs).
This series has captivated my attention. It seems that its the same writer who wrote Counterattack, but this is so much better. This web-series deserves some type of award. The fact that there is the brother twist to the story, just like the Thai BL Movie: My Bromance, makes me wonder how this will all work out when their secret eventually comes out. I feel like I can’t score this series until I’ve watched it to the end. I am so ready for this… 这个真的太好了。
